FacebookGsl. Have a good lot of ppl Hazel is one that does time keeping with property's Checks over place making sure that property is up in running any problems she sends in professional to help. The staff in gsl are there if your own person not available and helps out when needed. 😁👍

GoogleThis company just proves that anyone can become a letting agent nowadays, unprofessional owner and agent Jane, try to stay away from this one reply to GSL: I was already about to get a flat on Oswald street however Jane kept insisting that she needs to see more proof of my previous addresses, council tax and I politely declined and said that I am not happy with sharing my private details with you, especially when I have send you several letters excluding sensitive information like the amount I paid. Jane kept insisting and bullying me into getting her more and more ridiculous information that I never shared with any agent before. When I wanted to complain, Jane insisted that I am a liar and and when I wanted to complain to the owner, the owner insisted that I was lying too and that you were having problems with me not giving you sensitive information that no agency ever demanded. Of course, the owner acted the same way and started to defend Jane and argued that she is the award winning letting agent and I am the problem, again letting me question the professionalism of this company. I respect that she has an award but I would rather see professional service and actions. She was not professional during our communication, keeping me waiting all the time and then when i called her, she came back to me that I need to send her more and more asking for private information, and then when I complained about that, she asked if I want to take back my deposit and end it. Do you think that is professional attitude? After that, she explicitly said that I am a liar, as she kept insisting on me showing her all sorts of private and confidential information. It went extremely far in terms what Jane was asking for. But yeah, I will not comment on the owner, as she was as equally as rude as Jane. I can forward you my details, my name is FIlip Mlsna and had ended communication with GSL on the 17th of March, I can easily forward you these emails to make you remember so please stop making people believe like you are a genuine company. Again, you insisted in this review that I lost out on flat and I was unhappy and therefore wrote this review, however I gave you arguments before and you never acted in accordance with letting agents standard. Just shows how "professional and supportive" this company is to their tenants.NegativeProfessionalism
Filip we are sorry you have given us a 1 star rating. Can you give more explanation as to why you feel the service we gave you was only one star. We do not recognise your name as one of our clients. For your information Jane was voted top individual Letting Agent in Glagow by Allagents and voted for by her clients of which I do not believe you are one. She also holds a Level 3 qualification by the Chartered Institute of Housing so she is well qualified to be a letting agent. GoogleFirst time renting a flat and GSL could not have been anymore friendly and professional. Felt so at ease and they were always quick to handle any queries myself or flatmate had. Cassie dealt with us mainly and she was honestly a gem. Will definitely look to GSL for future properties as the team were so lovely. Hazel was also great in accommodating any issues we had - she carried out our property inspections. They were patient and understanding when I had to move my move out date by a week so it was really appreciated. Massive thank you to all of the team at GSL, really can’t recommend them enough if you’re looking for a property. 5++ stars

GoogleBy far, GSL have been the best letting agents I have ever come across over the two years I rented a property from them. Professional and always very quick to solve any query/issue I had (which there were very few). A special mention to my letting agent Jane who was just fantastic and could not have been a nicer and more professional person to go to and always went above and beyond for myself and my flatmate. I could not recommend Jane and GSL enough. Thank you so much GSL ❤️

GoogleI rented a property for a year and a half and had no problems at all with GSL or the landlord. Jane was a brilliant agent from start to finish, she made the move in process very smooth and easy and was always very approachable for any questions/concerns I had. I am shocked to see some negative reviews as my experience could not be more different. Even the moving out process has been great, I have bought a property so feeling stressed with the move but Jane has been very supportive. I would recommend GSL and especially Jane to anyone looking to rent a property.

GoogleI have personally dealt with Hazel for the last three years, and she has always been very friendly and extremely helpful. I have had very little problems with the property itself, but any issues I have had, Hazel has dealt with promptly. Safety checks, and inspections on the property are regular, and don't take long at all, which is great. All in all, cannot fault this company at all. - Ryan

GoogleI am really disappointed with the Move Out with GSL. If you are tenant, then you wont be getting any help whatsoever or consideration. I really wouldn't recommend GSL to any tenants.

Highly recommend GSL as they are an awarding winning company and their standards are industry recognised. Jane always keeps me updated on the latest legislation to make sure that I am up to date on everything! Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

FacebookWell well well... does not surprise me in the slightest that this company has dreadful reviews. Started off great... initially spoke to a young girl a few times then after paying to secure the property I was passed to Jane. All great, good communication seemed really nice etc until after I’d paid my money and took the keys.Baring in mind my application had to pass their “very high” standards. And I was paying what was definitely on the high end of the scale for a nice modern flat. As soon as I walked in the door I immediately realised what a huge mistake I’d made. The flat wasn’t cleaned, worktops were de-laminated (apparently my fault as it was sold as seen, even tho this was hidden).When challenged on the cleanliness of the property, I was told that the landlord said it had been professionally cleaned. Obviously untrue which I could prove, but the conversation seemed to be shut down. Pushed enough that I was told someone would come and clean the kitchen. Heard quite loud road noise from the bedroom, upon checking realises the window mechanism was broken and wasn’t air tight nor safe. I was repeatedly told I wasn’t using it right, it had been checked by the landlord and it had been checked by “Colin” who didn’t see what my problem was. Finally had a visit from the handyman who was “going to show me how to work the window”. The handyman agreed that the mechanism wasn’t working, the office still never accepted that the window was broke. My telephone conversations were very unprofessional, so much so I decided I would only communicate via email. Of course all emails were responded to in a professional manner, avoiding any responsibility. I was let out of my lease after 2 weeks one can only assume it was because I was on them like a tonne of bricks. I was told my refund would be in my account the following afternoon. However, two weeks later and multiple emails and demands for proof of transfer being made before this was processed. Jane continually reiterated other people’s stance, basically calling me a liar. However, when challenged for insinuating I was lying I received a well practiced response and avoidance of responsibility.As a tenant or landlord please save yourself the trouble and avoid at all costs. Never ever again

GoogleAs a landlord I have used GSL for over 10 years and they have never disappointed. Quick to respond, professional and have a good army of tradesfolk to take care of all the necessary maintenance at sensible prices. Jane Leonard on the letting side has looked after us well for many years.
