GoogleNicola and the team in the Newton Mearns office were fantastic throughout the process of selling our probate property. They were efficient, knowledgeable and extremely professional but also very thoughtful to our family in what was a difficult situation. Nicola was always there at the end of the phone with advice and reassurance as the selling process advanced, I could not recommend them highly enough, a definite five stars.

GoogleWe were very looked after by the Corum Newton Mearns Team- especially Nicola. We didn’t have the smoothest of Sales and Nicola was there for us throughout and we got there in the end. The whole team was very professional when dealing with the viewing stage- couldn’t have been better!

5 star review, I had the pleasure of working with Barrie Gilchrist at Corum during a particularly emotional time as I was selling my mother’s home and purchasing a new one. Barrie was not only incredibly professional and knowledgeable but also compassionate and supportive throughout the entire process. He made what could have been a stressful experience feel easy. Barrie provided expert advice on how to present my mother’s home for sale, ensuring we got the best possible price. His photos were excellent. On top of that, when it came to buying my new home, he went above and beyond, offering great tips on remodelling. His attention to detail and clear communication made me feel confident in every decision. I highly recommend Barrie and the Corum team for anyone looking to sell or buy a home. His expertise and thoughtfulness truly made a difference.

I was impressed by the professionalism of the Corum Ayr team from the start of the process to sell our home, to the successful closing date offer two weeks later. The process was explained, home report organised, viewings scheduled, and carried out by Corum, and we were given feedback on viewings the following day. They provided advice and reassurance throughout.

My experience with the glasgow west end team is that they sell things quickly without many viewings. This makes their lives easier but won’t get sellers the best price without more folks viewing and making offers. One week is not long enough for a property to be on the market - it’s not good for buyers or sellers. Who is it good for? CORUM.

Such a positive experience selling through Corum recently… would highly recommend considering using their professional and consistently expert team. From the valuation, carried out by senior valuer, Barrie Gilchrist, who provided a professional service, yet in a warm and approachable manner, to the team in the office who guided us through the process with honest and trustworthy communication. We would not hesitate to use Corum in the future.

Promised the world and didn’t deliver. Exceptionally poor service from Gavin who took on our listing and then vanished with no follow up even following several complaints. And only then did we get an email blaming another estate agent ( Clyde ) for trying to steal his listing, the most bizarre and unprofessional exchange I have ever had with someone who should be treating me , the client , as an important asset.

Refused to give us viewings when we told them we still had a property to sell. Viewing was scheduled for over a week away but the seller accepted an offer the first day of viewings. Even though we were told the company is very busy and couldn't arrange the viewings any earlier.

GoogleViewed a property last week decided on Monday 21st October to put a offer in got the usual need to speak to the vendor who needs to speak to the family and so on and so on I said just forget it I'm retracting the offer then on Thursday 24th got a call to say am I still interested I said maybe but I'm only giving you the same offer as Monday and I'm not instructing a solicitor you accept my offer and we will go legal tomorrow so verbal agreed then today Friday formal offer sent but with the side letter that if successful my wife would like to view again as we were rushed when we first viewed (it was like a open house) was told vendor said no and there accepting another offer obviously we were used to push someone else to offer this I may add is not the first time Corum Ayr rd Newton mearns has done this to us that was why I was a bit hesitant to waste my time and money to offer so BE careful when you are putting an offer in with them I called to speak to someone but they didn't answer so I've left a message to remove me from their mailing list and Don't phone me again REMEMBER YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

My former family home had to be sold after my parents went into care. James and his team looked after every aspect of the sale and kept myself and my sister fully updated at every step of the transaction. They handled all the viewings as we both live out of town. I can’t recommend Corum highly enough for professionalism and sensitivity they showed us under a what we thought would be a more stressful situation.

Well well, I wished I had read this before instructing AYR corum. Clearly all branches work independently of each other so I cannot comment on Corum in general. We have an ongoing complaint with the Estate agency ombudsman. Essentially they lost us a sale to a cash buyer very early in the process. This was due to incompetence , staff being off sick and poor management in the office. Of course they deny any negligence now the house HAS sold and they have their commission. NEVER AGAIN.
