I was dealing with Karen in connection with the purchase of a property through Mike Dobson, Garforth. Throughout the process, Karen acted professionally and yet with great sympathy and understanding. Karen was very helpful throughout and always prompt in responding to my various queries and questions. Being first time buyers, we had no experience in purchasing a home, and the staff were brilliant with us right from start to finish. If there were any questions we had, they did their best to help us, and Liz in particular was invaluable to us right from making our offer to completion! Liz made the whole process so much easier for us, and we were really grateful for such brilliant service. We are over the moon with our new home and can't thank Liz, and the rest of Mike Dobson's enough!

GoogleI recently used Mike Dobson’s estate agents in Garforth to buy my house. From start to finish they were absolutely amazing, no query was too much trouble, and when legal parties were slowing the process the staff at Dobson’s went out of their way to get things moving and kept me informed all the time. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

GoogleWe've been renting a property through Mike Dobsons since December 2022. They are honestly the greatest team. We've not had to speak with them very much since being here, but anytime We've had an issue, they're always quick to respond and get things sorted for us. I can of course only speak for the Lettings team, specifically Helen, but I imagine the rest of the employees are just as helpful and efficient.

FacebookDefinitely huge mistake employing M Dobson. Did they maximise the potential & profit from my home 100% NO. Did they advise me in the most affected why to make the most £ from the sale of my home 100% NO. Over the 5 month period involved in selling to the 1st person throw the door, who lived next door did they contact me to keep me updated 100% NO. Would I use Dobson again. 100% NO.

GoogleWe are potential buyers in Leeds and everytime we try and make an appointment to view one of MDobsons marketed properties we are told there is a long waiting list for accompanied viewings we live a long way away and have to arrange travel this is ridiculous ... sellers beware or do your own viewings as you are losing potential sales by missing out on viewings and you won’t be getting told about the viewings either. Get someone to ring and try to arrange a viewing on your property on a regular basis to test the water or you will lose sales... MD get more staff to do accompanied viewings or risk losing clients

GoogleAs a buyer this was the most shambolic estate agent I have ever come across. First contact was painful. They became completely confused as to which day I wanted to view and were fully booked. After going through it a further twice and asking them to re-check the date I was finally offered any time I wanted. The viewing was booked on Tuesday for Friday. The house sold SSC on Wednesday. I phoned again on Thursday to confirm the viewing and was encouraged to continue with the appointment. After waiting outside the house 15 minutes past the appointment I phoned the office to find out where the agent was. I was informed that I had cancelled the appointment yesterday. I was then informed that they had tried to phone me, couldn't get through and left a text message. i wouldn't have minded too much but I had travelled 3.5 hours from LONDON! Be very wary if you are thinking of selling your house through these muppets!

FacebookI can’t comment on Mike Dobson estate agents regarding their selling prowess however will so regarding lettings which in my experience and comparing with their competitors in the market can only be described as abysmal and appalling in the way they treat prospective tenants. Having seen a bungalow which suited our needs and within a suitable area I contacted Mike Dobson to apply for the property only to be told they were not in possession of the keys and could not arrange a viewing. This was a Friday morning I was also promised a follow up call on Friday later in the day that never came. By Monday morning was called and told the property was now let! bearing in mind Mike Dobson lettings are closed over the weekend. Reason according to Mike Dobson landlord had let the property themselves. Which incidentally was the same reason given for a similar experience I had with them in 2016 so I can speak from experience having been treat shoddily on two occasions. It’s my belief properties are not being marketed to the public and in actual fact being reserved for a select few which in no way would be in a Landlords interest

Andrea in particular was tireless in chasing down answers to enquiries and keeping me updated with how things were progressing. All of this has been done with cheerful, patient and helpful efficiency. They made the sometimes difficult business of buying and selling houses as straighforward and calm as possible. I would recommend them.
