I recently visited Lathom Grange and had a great first appointment with Lisa (Sales person) who after visiting a number of builders was able to reassure us of a home that we are looking to buy in the future. Lots of paperwork and plans were shown and discussed. Lisa welcomed all our questions and we can't wait to revisit in the near future.

Impressed from start to finish
Impressed from start to finish, carole and jo in the office were both brilliant so helpful and really informative, then when I moved in the site manager Shaun again super helpful, couldn’t do enough. I had more snags than I thought but they were mainly cosmetic and all sorted out quickly. I was put off new homes by bellway who are nothing short of appalling but morris homes restored my faith and I would whole heartedly recommend them. I’ve been impressed. Really impressed. 😀

Morris homes are the best and they value their customers
Me and my wife had a very good experience with Morris Homes - @ St Michael's Parks, Upton Valley Way N, Upton, Northampton NN5 4UU.This is what I felt genuinely about this company - they have very good team especially in sales office Jeanette and Amiee. Throughout whole process they were always behind us to help whenever we need them. This company got very good contacts with mortgage advisor's @Hayley Mortgagestore MK, they are also the best like Morris homes. Whole process was so quick and smooth. Our transition went really well and smooth. Our care responsibility is changed the hands from sales team to site team. I need to mention here without any hesitation a gentleman name from site team called "WILL" he is the best, took care and gave his utmost response and care on behalf of Morris homes to us. I personally give five star rating to him. After few weeks again our care responsibility moved to customer care team. In that teams I need to mention two names one is "HAMEED" @ customer care manager and Danielle Bland @ customer care coordinator, these people are quite good at their customer oriented services, they are the best. Some other people I need to mention here “Liam-electrician”, We had an issue with CAT5v ports but this guy spent his time and sorted out for me. He is the best in his work. A lady called Zoe House from Saint Interiors Administrator helped me throughout our journey and I picked up few faults with lights she acted on time and responded really well. Morris Homes are the best in customer oriented services; build quality, spacious rooms, garages, private driveways. Me and wife been to different new build properties we never come across big gardens in new builds, but Morris homes are quite good than other new builds. My personal opinion is worth taking home with Morris homes they are best in “listen to their customers”.

Morris Homes Buyer beware.
Buyer beware. Please be aware of their annual Fleecehold Ground maintainance fee policies if with FirstPort and in addition their £400 information pack that you will need to buy from them when you come to sell.Ask about the Neff built in dishwasher plug issue as to whether they have resolved it as it is dangerous. There have been several instances of this on our estate. It has been reported without response. The dishwasher plug seriously melts under your worksurface and behind the cupboard.

Don't bother wasting your money!!!!!
Nothing but problems since putting a deposit down. First off the sales agent gave me the wrong price for the house, so I applied for a mortgage to find the price of the house was considerably more. That created a whole load of issues. Secondly the team lied several times about when the property would be completed for me to get my keys. Every day it was another issue - no windows, not plastered etc - however I could very clearly see it was done and to make it worse another house same build as mine had the windows I needed yet hadn't had the garage or anything else built - ridiculous. Then I bought a brand new car and the site team sprayed brick acid all over it when spraying the house next door and only came to ask me to move my car when it was covered (so by this point the damage was done). My car less than 1 day old, brand new - now had corrosion all over it. Upon complaining the site director told me to claim on my insurance. He must have been smoking something if he thought that was the correct approach. Upon having the house I have had issue after issue. Pipes not put in properly, leaks, windows breaking, doors breaking the list goes on. Customer care have sometimes been helpful but the majority of the time you can't get hold of them and wait months for a reply. They then contact me to advise they need to dig the front of my house up as they "forgot" to build a path - and that the work will start tomorrow. Funny thing is they want to take some of my land away which legally they cannot do. All so they can get it signed off by the council. Not entirely sure how you can miss building a path? Along with this any issue I have raised that they pretty much wash their hands of. They build streets / driveways without taking into account accessibility. This cul de sac in particular is a nightmare to get on and off and because people don't know how to use their drive you get blocked in. perhaps if they didn't build houses on top of one another then parking wouldn't be such an issue. Overall my experience with Morris is poor. I would not suggest buying with them, it would be a waste of your money and make you miserable living in something that constantly has issues.

Great customer service!
Just bought a Morris home in rugby and absolutely love it. Alison held my initial appointment to look round the house before reserving and was SO helpful. She was happy to answer any questions and got back to me with any that she couldn’t fully answer at the time. Since reserving to completion both Alison and Pauline have been great at talking me through everything in the house and helped solve any problems I came across - which weren’t many at all. Absolutely love my new home and I couldn’t recommend Morris homes, and Alison & Pauline if you’re looking in rugby!

Visited Rivington Park and St Mary’s Park
Visited Rivington Park in Horwich to look at the Winster and the development. The estate is in early build at the moment. Development could be five years. I was born in Horwich so know the area. Moved away in the early 2000.

New morris home review
We have been delighted with our new home. There have been no serious issues other than the eflourescence that has formed on the brickwork since the purchase. A few minor issues were corrected effectively and speedily. However the white residue that has formed on the brickwork has not been resolved. Lizette in the sales office has been professional, helpful and supportive throughout.

Terrible
Terrible, definitely not a 5 star builder as we were advised upon reserving our home. You raise snags and they take months to book the relevant work in, some of the operatives don’t bother turning up on the date booked. The operatives either leave work unfinished or make the snags worse. You then have to wait even longer chasing customer care for the work to be booked back in which takes another few months. I’m pretty sure morris are just trying to drag out the process until we are out of our warranty period. Morris just try to build as many houses as quickly and cheaply as possible. The only good reviews listed on trust pilot are ones of people who have only reserved a house and not even moved in yet. All the problems start after they take your money and are moved in.

Awful customer care
We have had numerous issues with our house which have taken the best part of a year to resolve and when repair work has been booked in their contractors do not turn up. I have taken time off work multiple times now and this issue keeps happening. Unreliable customer care and no apologies or offers of goodwill provided at all.

Absolutely horrendous customer…
Absolutely horrendous customer experience!!! You will be told not to worry as you’re covered by NHBC warranty. Check out the NHBC warranty reviews on trust pilot to get an idea for the type of company your warranty is with! 1.3 out of 5 if you’re interested! We had multiple issues with our property with 2 major issues. It took 3 years to sort one issue out in which time we did not have a usable garden. The other issue after 4 years is still not resolved and despite proof the house does not meet NHBC recommendations Morris have said it’s not a problem. I think most people with a young family would agree that a freezing cold bathroom that’s constantly full of condensation leading to black mould on the walls and ceiling is a problem. Not Morris homes and their managing director though. I’d hate to count the time I’ve wasted on dealing with them. Numerous hours waiting in the house for snagging appointments, hours on the phone dealing with snags and hours/days/weeks dealing with hundreds and hundreds of emails!Horrible, stressful and time consuming customer experience.

Excellent support at Rivington Park…
Excellent support at Rivington Park site. After our recent visit to the site we have found the service from Paula first class. We receive regular calls with updates and checks if we have any queries regarding the purchase of our new home. Nothing is too much trouble and her support and guidance makes what can be a stressful time much easier.

Horrendous after purchase treatment
Was considering buying in the area, but bought from a different developer. So glad we did as St George's estate has been left looking horrendous with unfinished roads, parks abandoned with exposed plastic matting and Weeding all over. Considering some of the houses cost £500k + it would appear that Morris have abandoned the residents with no care for them.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
