GoogleRent charge. I normally pay every year with no issues however the last invoice they sent me went to junk and was subsequently deleted so I didn't see it. Sent a new email which went to junk but I found it and now saying that they will be forwarding our unpaid charge to debt collectors. You can send emails but not even call me ONCE or send an email to my husband? Husband will be calling you in the morning. Disgraceful. See screenshots of the documents sent by them.

GoogleFirst time dealing with smith-wooley and last time too. They took all my personall details including bankstatments. Me and husband get 50,000 a year so know our income wasnt a problem to rent. However, second I say two of my children are disabled no reply. Funny that. Especially as John Yonge acted like he would be ideal for the property yet cant be professional.
I would personally wait for hunters to have a suitable property for rent ect much more professional then these dregs.

GoogleIf you are looking for a property in Folkestone area Then Smith Woolley would be a no brainier. All the staff I have had dealings with are polite and courteous. But Amanda in the lettings department is superb. Any issues we ever had were sorted first time and same day! All of our Law required safety checks were done on time and paper worked emailed to our records EFFORTLESSLY! We were always dealt with in a professionally and equally unlike other estate agents who only seem interested in BUYERS!
I see a few 1* reviews that don’t strike me as fair given the service I always received. Hopefully people will look passed them and use this FANTASTIC estate agents!
