We have completed on our house purchase this week - and the vendor had marketed and sold via Savills in Farnham. We have for various reasons moved house an inordinate amount of times over the last several years - so we have some experience (for our sins). And would say that Savills were excellent in all regards. We dealt with Rory - but mostly Max - who were both great. Max especially kept on top of things - communicated quickly - and kept everything on track. They also worked well with our local solicitors. I can highy recommend them if your house is in this area.

Do not use Savills Farnham. Use an independent Local Farnham Estate Agent. Savills Farnham will work with non local developers to force planning into designated protected areas such as the South Farnham Arcadian Zone. An Aug25 Savills Planning Application for 7 houses in the Bourne Conservation Area was opposed by >250 local Bourne residents. All of which, will also NOT be using Savills Farnham going forward. Use a Local Agent that works for the best interests of the community of South Farnham.

Unfortunately I would not be so generous on the reviews on the letting side. I had to call 3 times to book a viewing for a property to view, gave my details 4 times: calls and online chat live! And the second person I spoke to after the first told me I would be contacted but was not. Tom Jennings was rather blunt and rude. Told me he would contact me back with no deadline of when. So I had to call AGAIN hoping to speak to someone else to be told that viewings were already being organised for the following week. What a way of being disorganised! How many times do you need to get someone details into your system to be told again and again oh we don’t know yet or we don’t have access. DO NOT PUT A PROPERTY UP ON THE MARKET UNTIL YOU KNOW when and where you can arrange viewing it’s a waste of time afterwards and feels really pushing and almost harassment having to call back many times to confirm almost day to day. Extremely hard to call a nightmare!

Savills in Farnham have just completed an excellent job of selling my house and finding me another. A real full circle job done well! When considering instructing Savills I asked Rory and Helen for a guide price at which I could realistically sell my house in a difficult market. Their recommendation was made and acted on enabling me to sell my house and find another much faster than I had anticipated. Conveniently, they also suggested I view the house that I subsequently bought and love. Their client care during the sale process was excellent with all team members seemingly up to speed of any developments when I needed to speak to them. In particular, Laura was brilliant at resolving a few minor post-survey matters in what was a fair and reasonable way to both parties keeping the process on track. I highly recommend Rory, Helen and Laura to anyone looking to sell their house. Their abilit I recall the discussion we had when you came out to pitch for the job and specifically that you as a team were worth the extra commission over your competitors. You were right! You achieved a sale price close to what you suggested and even found me a property to buy. What a great full circle job! I would like to thank you for all you did to make this happen and, at a number of times, your patience and understanding! Thank you for all your help. I shall recommend you to anyone I think will listen to your opinion on realistic guide prices (as I should have done!)
