GoogleI recently completed a purchase of a property in Faringdon through Waymark estate agents. The overall experience was very good. All staff members were friendly and approachable and I'd like to make a special mention to Mark Richardson who dealt with the viewing and initial negotiations and also Edward Porter who went out of his way to help me with some logistical information that was needed. The bottle of champagne and congratulations card received when collecting the keys was a very nice and unexpected touch too. Even after completion Sophie Hale was excellent in helping with a few further logistical matters so special mention to her too. Based on my experience Waymark in Faringdon were excellent and I'd have no hesitation is using them again or recommending them.

GoogleI would not recommend this estate agents to anyone. We rented a house through them, they will provide an out of date extremely vague check in inventory & then will try to oppress you into paying for things that are completely unreasonable & out of your control. We left our house in a much better condition it was received and they will claim it’s ’dirty & smells’ when they have been in and out of the property multiple times with viewings before a check out inventory is even done. As for the ‘manager’ Vicky, she is quite possibly the rudest person I have ever come across and unsure how she is still in that job. She is truly an embarrassment to the company. If you do happen to rent a property through them, take lots of photos and don’t be bullied into paying for ‘professional cleans’. Much to our advantage we won the dispute and didn’t have to pay £500(for a 2 bedroom house, absolutely ludicrous) for a professional clean.

GoogleBe very careful of Waymark Properties. They will try and scam you as you move out the property you are renting. The house was so dirty when we moved in, inventory wasn’t handed to us till about 5 days after move in and then when we left they was demanding us to pay £400 for a professional clean… Vicky, who we went through the whole time, was possibly the most unprofessional person ever! The day we moved out she moved the times so we didn’t see each other, to my shock she tried to swindle us to get that money they asked for, this sums her up during the whole time we lived in the area. If you use Waymark, make sure you are very careful and take plenty of photos from move in date. We also went to the TDS to dispute the case and we won thankfully, so make sure you don’t give in to them trying to bully you into a corner!

GoogleWe recently bought a house sold by Waymark. The seller had proposed a move in date that the estate agent from Waymark passed on to us, and we told them that this timeline would not work for us. This information was not passed back to the seller so they went ahead and exchanged on another property. This meant we were then forced to accommodate the original timeline which was extremely inconvenient and stressful for us. We have also since found out that Waymark did not tell the seller that this was their mistake, and instead told them that we had simply moved the goalposts at the last moment. I would not recommend Waymark to anyone.
Hi Lydia, Im so sorry you feel this way. As you were aware there were tight timeframes up and down the chain. And everyone involved did the best they could in order to keep the chain together and all buyers and sellers moving. That is/was our main focus. I understand the process was stressful for you due to the nature of the long chain with sellers and purchasers moving/relocating all across the county, but we spoke multiple times about timeframes and although they were not your preferred dates, you did agreed to both the exchange and completion in return of compensation from the seller. Hopefully you are happy in your new home, and in time will agree that the sacrifice in terms of timings was better than the chain collapsing and no one moving. We did apologise at the time for the inconvenience, but hopefully this message serves as a further apology. We wish you all the best. Waymark

GoogleWaymark were the company we viewed all of our properties with. It was a coincidence that each property we viewed was with them after finding each of them on Rightmove and that’s because they take on the best properties in the area. We bought our house through them and the process was so simple and every time we contacted an agent we got a very speedy reply which was always helpful. I would highly recommend them as an estate agent and have nothing but positive experiences with them.

GoogleWe were lucky enough that the house we were buying were using Waymark. We had not made the right choice when choosing our Estate Agent. However, thanks to Waymark we were updated through the whole process, Charlotte was amazing, we really can't thank her enough. Moving home is stressful enough, but Charlotte and Waymark helped us through the process, we felt they went over and beyond continually, we even received a bottle of Champagne on completion. Thank you so much for everything. If we ever move again we will only use Waymark.

They made the process seamless and their expertise in the industry provided me with a lot of confidence. They certainly took away the stress from us and allowed us to focus on the more positive aspects such as looking forward to moving into our new home. At Waymark, I dealt mainly with Hugh, Cameron, Yasmin and Tessa who were all fantastic. Cameron deserves a worthy mention because I felt a lot of times he went above and beyond for me, he is a credit to Waymark. Yas was also fantastic for liaising directly with the solicitors, new home builder and my buyer. She was very professional throughout and I enjoyed getting regular updates from her on the process. I never felt isolated or forgotten, I don’t remember worrying much at all because I was well looked after by the team. Waymark demonstrated high levels of professionalism and communication was brilliant throughout. 5 stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

GoogleWaymark Buying a property is often considered a stressful process. However my recent experience of buying two properties in Faringdon with Waymark Estate Agents has been a painless experience. I was provided with supportive advice and guidance on the properties along with information on other comparable properties that had come on to the market and been recently sold. Having a wider perspective of the property marketplace allowed me to proceed with confidence. I was not subjected to a hard sell and genuinely felt that Waymark’s were taking my own personal needs into consideration whilst obviously representing the interests of the vendor. The advantages associated with the location of the two properties in conjunction with the surrounding amenities was also explained which was important since my knowledge of Faringdon was limited. COVID and the reliant sale of another property made the process rather prolonged but Waymark kept in regular contact throughout, answering and resolving all questions and queries. When it came to letting the properties Waymark were once again able to provide the necessary advice and guidance. All the legal requirements associated with the letting of a property were organised and overseen by Waymark. This occurred in a very timely manner allowing tenants to move in soon after completion. Communication between myself and Waymark was excellent throughout allowing a trusting relationship to develop. I was impressed with the friendly and professional service that I experienced. GoogleAn awful experience renting a property from this estate agency. The staff were dismissive and downright rude. Communication was slow, unhelpful, and often felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. There policies seem to change as to suit them and I would not recommend renting from them even if I was homeless!

GoogleWaymark on the whole have been a pleasure to deal with. From the initial visit from Hugh to Charlotte telling us the sale has completed. All the people in between, Sophie, Mark & Tessa, have all been lovely and quite patient. Obviously, they earn their commission from the property sale and can be quite inventive when it looks like the sale may go off the rails. Sometimes to the detriment of your asking price, but they do try to mitigate this in some way. Would use again and would recommend.

GoogleWell, what can I say. The brochure that was produced out of the survey was excellent. We had a cruise to enjoy, so all our ports of call and dates due on shore were given to Waymark. At a Ranch House in Malta, the phone went off and an offer had been made and accepted. It was then placed firmly in the hands of the Sales Progressor who, having put up with badgering from me, took the sale to exchange of contracts. I have mentioned no names as it would not be right because everyone at Waymark Faringdon acted in a truly efficient, courteous and, above all, professional manner. Thank you.

GoogleAbsolutely brilliant. We had a complex purchase involving two sellers and an unresponsive solicitor. However, we managed to finalise the purchase due to Charlotte's help.
