We had a fantastic experience with Perry Bishop. We bought a property in Lechlade and they were extremely accommodating getting viewings at short notice, as we did not live in the area. After our offer was accepted we had a dedicated person, Michelle, who looked after the whole process, chasing all solicitors etc weekly to keep everything on track. It all went extremely smoothly and would definitely recommend.

We had a house processed with Perry Bishop for 3/4 months and due to numerous different factors during this time it lead us to having a really bad experience with them. The housing process is stressful enough without an estate agents that felt patronising and forceful. I personally wouldn’t recommend them or use them again.

We have a duty of care to our clients to find them the best buyer for their circumstances at a price that allows them to achieve their objective for selling which would explain why you were asked if you were prepared to increase your offer. It also explains why we asked you for details of your deposit in order that we could carry out due diligence and recommend you as a buyer to our client. The major factor you refer to was not made known to our valuer when the house came to the market or during the marketing and it is not unusual for solicitors to provide legal information during the conveyancing process which lenders and buyers need to take a view on. GoogleWe recently purchase a property through Perry Bishop and Chambers. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Once we had our offer accepted, Michelle was a particular help particularly when getting solicitors to complete tasks in a timely manner. She kept us fully informed throughout the process and really helped when our buyer threatened to pull out.

GoogleVery bad experience from the beginning of the rental. Including but not limited to "they own interpretation of the rental agreement", bad communication. Do not recommend to rent via this agent. Or if you brave enough employed a photographer that will cover all details of the place you are renting.
We are very sorry that this became so complicated , we pride ourselves on the relationship we have with our landlords who 99% of the time will carry out required maintenance and be guided by us, this case was unusual and we are sorry your experience wasn’t as good as it could have been.

GoogleWe had a bad experience with Perry bishop in Faringdon. When looking around the house we were told by the estate agent that she “matches the houses to the person”. I have family members that sell houses that said this was discrimination and not a normal thing to say. We were pushed to offer more and I have a few friends who had the same experience and felt pressured to offer more. I had someone make a remark when I was asked about how much I could put as a deposit which was “ well not everyone has that amount in their account” (I had worked very hard for 3 years to save) this comment was unprofessional. I felt during the process at times the estate agent was patronising which was hurtful as the housing process is stressful enough. Unfortunately they sold the house to us without informing us about a major factor which meant we couldn’t take the house in the end. I personally wouldn’t recommend them or use them again.

GoogleSo glad I chose perry bishop as the estate agent for my sale after meeting a few agents it was Lucy from perry bishop who was so friendly and helpful and just generally gave the company a great first impression so I decided to go with them. As it’s a shared ownership property it’s a bit more complicated than a standard sale and Jade from perry bishop really helped at being a go between for myself, the buyer, solicitor’s and the management company. Jade did so much chasing for me and on the day our RICS valuation expired she chased to make sure the buyer delivered his documents in time for exchange …we exchanged at 4:30pm! I don’t think anything would have been as smooth if we’d have gone with another agent!

It's a long time since I've sold a property and a lot has changed in the intervening years, but led by Gerry and Jade, I was guided through the process and, throughout, kept informed on the outcome of viewings, and the legal procedures and progress. The marketing of the property ensured that an excellent sale price was achieved. I cannot speak highly enough of the friendly, prompt and professional way Jade, in particular, handled the whole sale journey for me.

We sold our house with Perry Bishop and decided to go with them due to their friendly caring nature. The ladies based in Faringdon could not do enough to help us find the right buyer and make sure we understood the whole sale process. Sadly our first buyer fell through due to the incompetence of the mortgage staff at a large well know bank! But that didn't stop Perry Bishop pulling it out of the bag and finding us a new buyer within a few days. Then the sale processed very smoothly and we managed to exchange within 6 weeks thanks to the coordination of Michelle at Perry Bishop making sure all the solicitors where talking and progressing the matter as quickly as possible (so we didn't lose our dream home!). If we did ever decide to move again we would go straight to Perry Bishop. We couldn't recommend them enough. Thank you ladies.

GoogleHonestly save yourself some time, money and more inportantly hassle by going a few doors down to Waymark. Had a truly aweful service from Perry Bishop, poor customer service and the general attitude when raising concerns with them, unless your house is over a certain £££ figure dont be expected to be treated well, more as an inconvenience and that your property isn't worth their time. Some of the issue we had : Doors left unlocked after viewings. Muddy foot prints left through house. Lights left on. Incorrect information given to viewers of the property. Incorrect information listed in the ad, reported numerious times. Poor communication Poor attitudes of staff All this complained about to manager who shrugged it all off, and just didn't care. After all this and terminating the listing due to us having enough of their mistakes and attitude, they had the nerve to try and charge us a fee, complained again to manager over terms of contract and agreement, and they put it down to "errors again". In my opinion avoid this company at all costs, they go for the quick sale and under value your property to boost their "sales figures" at your cost. Simply put to sum up, property was listed for over a year with Perry Bishop, not only was it a nightmare experience for us they could not secure a sale! ONE week with new agent Waymark, 6 offers and price secured well over Perry Bishop "estimates".NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
