GoogleJames and Stef were fantastic. They took the time to get to know us and our house and it was always clear how much experience they have. Our move turned out to be more complicated than expected, and it made a huge difference knowing they were always there to give us sensible and helpful advice, and reassure us along the way. Throughout the whole process we felt like we were getting a much more personal service and a higher level of expertise than we would with a big chain estate agent.

GoogleFrom experience, there are two types of estate agent - the "sell, sell, sell" gang who treat you as an income, but thankfully there are others like James who treat you as a human. From the moment he came to value my property it was obvious that there was going to be no game-playing or fakery; both James and his team gave me honest, accurate and timely advice. One of the best things about James is his attention to detail in the photos - he takes time over them and helps to stage the room to its best, rather than just take a picture of what's there (dirty washing, bed not made etc), which is half the battle; he even came back on a sunnier day to retake a few which would benefit from extra light. As a small company, I definitely felt that everyone on the phone knew what was happening with my place, rather than a bigger agency who have a larger portfolio. I'd thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking to sell a property in the Falmouth area, for their honesty, their attention to detail, the quality of the admin, and the human approach.

GoogleI have never come across a brilliant estate agent before (sorry!) but this is it.
James and Stef Carter are everything you’d hope for but never get from an estate agent.
They are honest, quick to act, do what they say they will do and they are genuinely acting for the seller, highly unusual in my experience.
They are also lovely people.
We went to a big chain agency first and were treated appallingly. Someone suggested we tried James Carter & Co. as a smaller independent agent and it’s the best recommendation ever.
As all the properties are advertised online these days, it just doesn’t matter how big or small your estate agent is, what matters is quality, intelligence and integrity.
This is the biggest recommendation I will ever give. Oh, yes, they are also significantly cheaper than the bigger agents.
I have never before said it’s been a pleasure to deal with an estate agent but it certainly was this time!
If you’re selling or buying, use James Carter & Co., they are top class.
