Trying to sell in the recent economic climate was not easy. We were very happy with the service provided by Amy and Hamish who were always responsive and helpful, meeting as necessary to discuss next steps and how best to respond to a changing sales market. They realised how much the house meant to us over many years and made good links with our lawyer pending the sale.

GoogleStrutt & Parker over in Exeter are a rare breed of estate agent: kind, helpful, thoughtful and switched on. They made buying our house an absolute pleasure, when it had the potential to be a real horror show. Sometimes you wonder what an estate agent adds to the process once the offer has been agreed but Tom, Lindsey, Heather, Molly & Karen all showed that they are absolutely invaluable. They helped find information, without which would have been like wading through legal treacle, had no reservations which giving us access for things like Ecology surveys (which are time sensitive) and were, to a (wo)man, a pleasure to work with. Thanks again. You've restored my faith in Estate Agents.

Strutt and Parker Sevenoaks Branch have recently completed the sale of our property. Despite the chain being problematic due to the failings of other estate agents within the chain. Victoria Rose of S & P was professional, honest and did everything possible to ensure our buyers were able to proceed with the purchase on many occasions out of office hours and at weekends. The good lines of communication S & P maintained between buyers, solicitors and developers resulted in us moving into our dream Home.

GoogleS&P have been fantastic from the moment they first met with me to discuss selling my property, then getting it on the market with a fabulous brochure. All the office staff are so lovely, always very friendly, making sure I was kept well informed and comfortable about viewings and following up with prospective buyers. Although for me, the sale took a very long time, that was due to two sales falling through due to the buyers having to pull out (for reasons other than my property). S&P were really good about making sure the property was re-marketed until we achieved a successful sale. The staff I met including three who showed prospective buyers around, as well as those who I didn't meet in person were always knowledgeable, personable and everything you would want from a great estate agent. I cannot thank them enough as it helped me get through what could have been very stressful, but really wasn't !

Sadly our experience hasn't been great with Strutt & Parker.Here is some honest feedback about our experience!1. Promises and deadlines for marketing our property were undelivered2. The photo shoot was that bad we had to appoint our own photographer.3. Once a viewing was booked we'd spend hours preparing our property to look its best and after the viewing we'd receive zero feedback.This was on the selling side only.Ref the purchasingWe were in a chain whereas both properties were marketed by Strutt and Parker. The vendors of where we were purchasing decided they couldn't find anywhere suitable after we'd spent £2500 on legal fees. If this was not bad enough we were even more mortified when Strutt & Parker willingly re-marketed the property just a few months later for £50k more without even consulting us first.This will be costly to Strutt & Parker going forwards as we are property developers in the area, and they could have generated a lot more business from us, however we have gone with another agent who will be selling 5 properties for us in the first instance.

With an overseas vendor and in the middle of a covid lockdown they proved excellent brokers and the sale wouldn’t have happened without their input. GoogleOutstanding superb service throughout...! Why? I'm an Armed Forces Disabled Veteran amputee and suffer from Complex PTSD and associated mental health issues... The whole time from commissioning to completion Tom Holland and his Team were incredible...! Friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, honest (refreshing in this day and age!), reactive to changing situations, whilst remaining totally professional throughout! When the sale proceeded it became very intense and overwhelming for me, Tom and Team recognised this and my issues, they immediately stepped up to the plate and concluded the sale for me liaising with the buyer and legal teams for me...fantastic going above and beyond...! Would I recommend, h*ll yeah! Can't fault Strutt & Parker Exeter office...!

We've dealt with Caroline Clark twice over the past year and we are truly disgusted with her manners. Very unprofessional and abrupt, cannot wait to get rid of you!Do not waste your money doing reference checks with her, she's not open and honest about what the landlord will and will not accept. You will pay for the reference only to discover that there's some reason that you can't be accepted as a tenant. Her one-liner emails are very impersonal. She forgets that she's made an appointment for a house viewing and has kept us waiting at a property while she casually drives up without an apology. The worst customer service ever. Disgusting.

Without going into details, we were becoming downhearted and depressed about selling our house and buying a new place. Then, by great fortune we came across Strutt and Parker, and Gina Simpson in particular. Gina has what is nowadays the rare quality of inspiring trust, and it’s the lack of trust that makes house buying / selling so hard these days. From the outset Gina has been positive, and calming when our nerves were shredded. Her advice throughout has been invaluable, and she’s been there for us at anytime, without ever making us feel that we were pestering. We can strongly recommend Gina Simpson at Strutt and Parker.

We nearly went with Purple Bricks to save us some money, what a mistake that would have been!!Not only was the entire process stress free, with Victoria and team always on hand to answer (unlike horror stories I've heard from other well known firms!), it's fair to say the expertise from Strutt Parker made up for the financial saving AND SOME tenfold, due to being able to market our property personally, to a tailored audience of ready to buy clientele who gained more on our sale price than any basic Rightmove listing could ever acheive.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
