Dear Charlotte As per my detailed emails, I have looked into exactly what happened in your case. It is clear that the landlords made a decision to go with alternative tenants, who had a clear credit history and therefore posed a lower risk. Having been through everything with a fine toothcomb, I feel that all the Southgate staff have acted with complete professionalism and integrity and genuinely could have done no more to help you. The landlords made their own informed decision to go with other tenants based on the information we had to pass on about yourselves and other tenants. Had they asked for my professional opinion, I’m afraid to say that I would have fully supported their decision. I’m really sorry that things didn’t work out for you with this rental. We take feedback very seriously.
