We have known and worked with the Equinox team for many years and chose to move our business to them when they set up independently. Really that says it all. We have complete trust in their integrity and professionalism. We recently sold an HMO at auction and relied on the expertise and unstinting hard work of Jacob who communicated closely with the auction house and ourselves and our buyer to ensure that everything went smoothly. Jacob also helped us navigate Exeter City Planning department to obtain the necessary "Lawful Development Certificate" (CLU) required by our buyer. He was at all times on the case. We cannot thank him enough. We appreciate the diverse skills of the Equinox team and the continuity of our association with them .We would unreservedly recommend Jacob and everyone at Equinox. I had a very positive experience with Equinox over three years, during which I rented two different properties they managed. They were always personable, professional, and quick to respond whenever needed. On both occasions my full deposit was returned promptly, with a fair and reasonable approach to normal wear and tear, which is refreshing compared to many other estate agents. Communication was clear and the process was always straightforward. They also provided genuinely thoughtful personal references for future properties, which really helped me move on to my next homes despite there being no benefit to them. I would especially like to highlight Patsy and Tina, who were both exceptional and a real credit to Equinox. I would happily recommend them.

I have known the team at Equinox Sales and Lettings for many years using their services to rent out various properties while I have been living broad. To put it simply, Equinox cannot be trusted, both for tenants and landlords. Complete lack of professionalism, communication and accountability. Multiple egregious instances of deceit; aggressive and hostile communication; complete failure to vet tenant applicants, and even attempting to defer the onus of this role on the tenants themselves; multiple attempts to overcharge and or reneging on an agreement not to charge, and overall a service so poor I’m going to be contacting the local council about their business practices. Please, if you are a tenant or landlord; stay as far away from Equinox sales and lettings as possible.
