GoogleOverall, the experience dealing with Belvoir was sub-par and I would be very hesitant to deal with them again. I had an endless list of complaints, the main issue being that the front door let in any chav that decided to give it a punt leading to some unsavoury meetings during the night… I regrettably gave each mattress in the house a lengthy sniff; instant regret. Each smelled like rotten urine and left me with a deep sense of dread at exploring the remainder of the house.NegativeQuality, Value
Hi Jacob. We are Belvoir Exeter, and this has nothing to do with ourselves here in Exeter as you are not one of our tenants or even in one of our properties. You must be mistaking ourselves for another of the Belvoir branches, (Franchise's), as there are almost 200 branches across the UK, and you have posted this post on our Google page by mistake.

GoogleVery poor. I called about a property advertised to let to arrange a viewing and was told that they would have to contact the current tenants to arrange a time and come back to me. No one did. I chased it after 48 hours as the weekend was looming and presented the best opportunity for me to see the property. On calling again I was informed that the tenants were unreachable and away and not to worry as I would be contacted as soon as they had made contact. By Monday I still had not heard so I chased again, only to be told that the property has been let to someone who viewed it at the weekend. When I questioned how this could be as the tenants were not present to arrange or conduct a viewing, a very hasty and sketchy excuse was given about it having been arranged a while ago. Either the agent is prioritising viewers or had fogotten to call me. Either way this is a shockingly unprofessional service to both landlords and prospective tenants - an agent that is going to deny landlords a full service by ignoring enquiries does not deserve your business when there are other professional alternatives out there. Avoid this amateurish set up at all costs.
Dear James. Very sorry this has happened as this is not the way we do business. The reason this has happened, (beyond our control), is as follows; This property is managed by the landlord himself and we just do a tenant find service for him. What really happened is that whilst we were trying to get hold of the current tenants to arrange access for viewings, (yourself and another couple), and waiting for them to get back to ourselves after the weekend, the landlord, (without our knowledge), had arranged access himself at the weekend to show a couple around who were friends of the landlords family, which we were unaware of as he never informed us. He then phoned us first thing Monday to say they wanted it and they would be contacting ourselves so as to start the referencing process etc. Had we known this we could have informed you. As stated, we will of course let you know if anything changes or if anything else suitable becomes available soon. Kind Regards Belvoir Lettings

GoogleIf you are looking for great value fees, excellent timely response to problems, an agent who is straight forward, friendly and helpful then this is the agency for you! Absolutely cannot fault them and renting has been stress free. Very flexible and fair company, definitely recommended!
