GoogleAs a first-time buyer, I trusted this estate agency to provide accurate and reliable information when viewing and proceeding with a property purchase. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
When I was shown the property, I was told three key points that significantly influenced my decision to proceed:
• That the flat had an allocated parking space
• That the leasehold was 999 years
• That residents contributed to a joint building insurance policy
After several months of progressing the purchase and paying substantial solicitor fees, it became apparent that all three of these statements were incorrect. There was no allocated parking for the flat, the lease was under 150 years rather than 999, and there was no existing joint building insurance policy.
Each time I raised these issues with the estate agent, I was simply told that the information had been provided incorrectly by the seller and that they apologised. While mistakes can happen, these are material facts that should have been verified before being presented to a buyer, particularly as they directly affect a purchaser’s decision-making.
The process was stressful, costly, and ultimately ruined my trust in the agency. Buying your first home should be an exciting experience, but being misled on multiple fundamental aspects of the property made it extremely disheartening.
I would strongly advise future buyers to ensure all key details are confirmed in writing and verified early in the process.

For clarity, at no stage was any information intentionally misrepresented. All details provided at the time of marketing were supplied directly by the seller, and we have written evidence confirming this. As soon as discrepancies came to light during the conveyancing process, these were communicated transparently and promptly.
It is also important to note that at every point in the transaction, you were under no obligation to proceed. Any concerns could have been raised or the purchase reconsidered at any stage prior to exchange, and we would of course have supported that decision. Additionally, your solicitor’s role is to independently verify all legal and leasehold matters, including lease length, parking rights, and insurance arrangements, before contracts are exchanged.
We do regret that this situation caused frustration, and we are sorry that you feel this impacted your first-time buying experience. However, at no point was any anger or dissatisfaction expressed to us during the process, and we would have welcomed a direct conversation to address concerns constructively rather than via a public review.

GoogleWe had a great experience with Davis Homes, we were property searching for months and dealt with many estate agents and Davis Homes were by far our favourite.
Very friendly staff who checked in with us throughout the process leading up to exchange. Communication was great, we dealt with Chris and Karen primarily who were really accommodating to requests.
I found them to be very fair and honest and didn’t play us against other potential buyers which I found was the case with most estate agents in the area.
Highly recommend and would consider them for any future property sales/purchases.

We have very bad experience with this agency especially with Chris.
We should to buy house in Church Langley and the 30 October we make offer and they accept to be done and exchange contract in the 3 mounths.
After 3 mounth when was everything was done and need to exchange the contract on the 07 February they don’t won’t beacouse they are not ready yet but when we make offer they told will take maximum 3 mounth to complete.
We spend lot of money and our time and we did not buy this house anymore beacouse they stil not ready to move.
I definitely not recomand this agency if don’t won’t to lose your time and money for all process is the best Avoid Avoid this company.
