I realise that this can be a stressful process and a special mention must be given to Jonjo for his hard work throughout. I would definitely use Millers again based on this experience and recommend them for anyone looking for a good, hassle free estate agent.

FacebookAfter recently trying to find a new home with several estate agents I have found that majority of them are disgraceful. But millers have shown that you can be a helpful kind person as well as an estate agent. Hoping to buy my home through these.

Millers were due to hand the keys to a rental accommodation to my parents today who are in desperate need of support. Most of last week ignored and brushed off with shockingly poor communication they received an email this morning informing them that their rental (deposit paid and contacts signed) wasnt going ahead. They are unprofessional, poor communicators and should be avoided.

Millers were the letting agent for a property that my late father rented out. He has sadly passed away and the tenants have refused to move out. My father's estate needs to sell the property to pay the inheritance tax and to pay the various Beneficiaries in the Will. In order to commence eviction proceedings, evidence is required that certain documentation was provided to the tenants at the commencement of the tenancy. When asked for this by the solicitor who is the independent Executor of the Estate, they replied that: "Unfortunately we do not have any paperwork relating to this property". The solicitor described this as: "... unusual given that it is a relatively short period of time since they were instructed". The fact that this lettings agency does not keep records, or otherwise is so lax in their arrangements that they lose files, does not paint their professionalism and competence in a positive light. Their failings have caused significant delays to dealing with my late father's estate and there has been an intrusion upon the grief the family has faced because it has been unnecessarily prolonged as a result of the delays they have caused in bringing matters in relation to his estate to a conclusion. It is on that basis that it would be impossible for me to recommend them to any landlord thinking of using their services.
