I have just completed the sale of my property with the expert help of Karl Tatler Estate Agents. What could have been a difficult experience was made all the more comfortable and smooth by the standard of service received from the staff dealing with the sale. The whole team were very professional from the point of my initial enquiry through to completion date. I must mention Linda my sales negotiator and Kerry my sales progression officer. There was not a week went by when I didn't receive a call from either of them with updates, they were both there to deal with and respond to any queries I had which they did promptly. When looking to appoint an Estate Agent to act on my behalf I considered various other agents in my area, what i discovered was that Karl Tatler's are certainly not the cheapest but through experience can confirm they are the best. Its true what they say you get what you pay for and I certainly got first class service.

A couple of weeks ago, we decided to put our house up for sale. Caleb came out to value the property and then returned to take photographs and measurements, a couple of days later. He was very professional, honest and knowledgeable about the current market, which helped us to sell our home in just a weeks time. Karla was our direct point of contact. She has been excellent. Her communication was clear and consistent and she endeavoured to keep us informed, at each stage of our sale. Karla was available whenever we had a question and was also mindful of our working hours. As a result of our positive experience with the sales team, we also decided to use Leah as our mortgage advisor. Again, Leah was fantastic. She has checked in with us throughout the process, offered us advice, helped us to process our sale and also to purchase our new property. Keeping everything in house, assured that everything ran smoothly. We are so happy with the service that we have received from everybody at KT and would highly recommend them to anybody who wishes to sell or buy property, in the future.

I was selling my parents bungalow when…

I was selling my parents bungalow when we went with them they said they had over 200 people interested that was a lie only had 3 people and it was the third couple that put offer in 2 months down the line. Christine Billington was dealing with me as complication was drawing close she became very pushy asking alot of questions especially about my sister property she was buying which had nothing to do with her as their was no chain also she wasn't happy as she wanted to complete earlier than the date we had in mind. We had not heard from Christine after we exchanged to complication which was 6 weeks which in my opinion is very rude and not perfessional.Also watch out when they say what the percentage is to sell your house they don't tell you their is vat to add on which we found out when we got the bill.

Terrible estate agents. They clearly don't know their arse from their elbow. We decided to sell our property with Karl Tatler (Little Sutton) in October this year after a positive buying experience 12 months prior. Initially they came out and provided a valuation etc which was all fine. We decided to proceed and listed our property for sale with them, this is when issues began to arise. The initial listing was really poor with poor photos, incorrect property information and spelling mistakes throughout the listing. We asked to retake some internal photos which they did within 3 days, during this appointment I pointed out listing errors (listed our property as having one reception room despite it having three) which were corrected. When asked to retake external photos they advised me they're too busy but would be in contact in the week when they can take them. Around 10 days later I had to initiate contact and ask them again to come and retake the photos which were done that day. After consulting another estate agent I was advised this would have massively affected interest in the sale of the property because most interest is generated within the first 14 days and would need completely relisting. This was mentioned to Karl Tatler who's solution was initially to reduce the price of my property by 10k (despite it being listed according to their valuation) which I declined, then a premium right move listing which wouldn't make a difference to interest. We received a request to view a couple of days later, after getting the property ready to view no one turned up but had requested to rearrange which wasn't an issue, we agreed a viewing the following Friday. When Friday came around I prepared the house for viewing again and again no one turned up. I contacted Karl Tatler to chase the viewer and it transpired the estate agent had booked the viewing on the wrong day, I advised them I was unable to complete a viewing the day they had booked due to being in work. They informed the viewer and after chasing the viewer for multiple days this ended up with the viewer loosing interest and also the loss of a potential sale with no explanation or apology offered and they dodged the question every time I asked for an explanation. Communication has been poor throughout with contact only initiated when I have contact them. We have now removed the listing and my phone hasn't stopped ringing with calls from them since. Incompetence is ripe and they certainly don't offer value for money. avoid if you actually want to sell and not pay 1.25% for a sub par service.

Both the sales of our previous property and the purchase of our new home were dealt with through the Little Sutton office. Jane was very attentive and patient in helping us choosing the property we eventually purchased. She also dealt with the viewings of our sales property in a very efficient and professional manner. All the staff, especially Karla and Jane were always on hand for advice and to answer queries. We were never left hanging at any stage and calls were always returned promptly. Once the process started, we were assigned Karen as our sales progressor. Karen was equally as attentive and helpful. Never imposing, but always providing regular and timely updates along the way. We are extremely happy with our purchase and would certainly recommend Karl Tatler to anyone looking to move home.

Helped make the stress of being a first-time buyer a lot more straightforward. After having a purchase with another agent fall through, I was in contact with Karla at Karl Tatler, she was brilliant and in regular contact with me to check I was still in the market and would let me know every time anything suitable came up. As luck would have it a property I had previously missed out on as wasn’t quick enough came onto the market again and she arranged a viewing for me the same day, by the end of the day I had my offer accepted. Not long after that, I was contacted by Karen at the sales progression team who would be dealing with my purchase, she was in regular contact with myself the seller and both of our solicitors making sure everything was moving and would keep us updated, she even called to let me know as soon as the keys were collected for the valuation. Karen was fantastic throughout; nothing was too much trouble dealing with anything that came up as quickly as possible and rang me the day before completion to let me know what would happen. On completion day we did complete later in the day due to waiting on some information from a third party, however, this was managed smoothly, and she even managed to arrange for a member of the team Jim to meet me later in the day to ensure I got the keys to my new home as soon as possible.

Heswall office -Awful service. Since my tennancy ended recently Its been quite a while since had any outcome regarding summary or deposit. Have contacted agency and spoken with Daniel who was okay while I was Tennant now that's ended. I have received nothing but poor communication. I have every right to contact my agency if I haven't heard anything after 10 days regarding my deposit explaining to them I have spoken to my landlord a lot and it's just going around in circles but I'm not even disputing anything I would just like a final outcome which not receiving. Called my agency a few times to see if they could follow up as I'm not getting anywhere and instantly no. I'm sure this agency is just supposed to help to follow up by not evening arguing just to see if there's any update as I'm not getting anywhere. I feel really let down.

We listed our property with Cavendish Manley who were brilliant. Highly experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. They were taken over by Karl Tatler and the hand over was seamless. Organising Viewings was easy and flexible. Once we had a buyer we ended up in a problematic chain with many a hurdle. It’s taken nearly 6 months which has had many a difficulty due to problems at the top of our chain. Our ‘sales progressor’ Ann has been amazing in ensuring the sale went through. She’s kept our buyer on board and helped push things along the chain. She’s been excellent communicating with us, our buyer, solicitors and other estate agents. I can’t imagine any faceless online company being able to provide such an excellent service. If it wasn’t for Ann, the chain was likely to have fallen through. I’d would highly recommend 😊

Karl Tatler have exceeded our expectations from day one. Their service level is second to none and I would recommend them to anybody wanting to sell their home or buy. We had an initial visit from Katie who was extremely knowledgeable within her field and explained everything thoroughly with regards to putting our house on the market. Despite not feeling any pressure to put our property on the market, once we were informed of how KT work we were really eager; Katie was then able to take professional photos that day. After only a few days we had multiple viewings booked; Karla who was dealing with our property initially ensured she kept us updated every step of the way with feedback and viewing requests. We were astounded by the amount of interest; having had our property on the market with another estate agency for 3 months, KT had surpassed the amount of viewing requests in just 3 days in comparison to the other estate agency whom had listed our property for much longer. We went to see a property with Karl Tatler and the lovely Nia was assigned to us to take us through our purchase journey. She initially showed us around the property and was very knowledgeable and able to provide all relevant information pertinent to the property purchase. Therefore, we decided to put an offer in for the property and Nia brokered the deal with due diligence and professionalism throughout. Her communication has been exemplary and without Nia’s expert opinion and her friendly nature we probably would not have offered for the property.
