I just wanted to take a few minutes to express how grateful I am to Kate and share my experiences of dealing with her from the first moment we spoke at the end of February in relation to my purchase. In my opinion, Kate is an absolute standout in the world of Estate Agents, I have worked in Estate Agency and New Homes sales as a Senior Manager for 30 years and from our first conversation, she impressed me with her professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. Kate went above and beyond to keep me informed at every stage, always quick to respond to questions and proactive in finding solutions as it was a big ask to get exchange of contracts through in just over 4 weeks, but with Kate’s hard work and commitment I achieved the target goal and secured my dream home. I will be forever grateful to Kate for everything she has done so I could achieve this dream ! What really sets Kate apart from other Estate Agents I have come across is her dedication, nothing has ever felt like too much trouble, and she treated my purchase as if it were her own. Her honesty, attention to detail, and friendly manner made the entire process smooth and stress-free, Kate knows I have had a challenging 20 months and during that time 11 months of it has been dealing with a huge amount of hassle in relation to selling my home in Dorset following my husband passing, plus a fall through with my first purchasers last September and then two purchases of new properties I was trying to buy also falling out of bed just before exchange of contracts. Kate has understood the journey I have been on and truly delivers exceptional customer service taking into account all the hassle I have experienced to make this process as smooth as possible, Kate is a credit to your team. She is a pleasure to know and someone I’d recommend without hesitation should anyone be looking to sell or buy, I will be recommending your company and making sure my friends ask for Kate. I will always be grateful for everything Kate has done in going the extra mile to help me achieve my dream home and a new start !

We felt compelled to communicate our gratitude and appreciation of Kate Ormond during the very lengthy and difficult conveyancing of Laurel House Urchfont. At every turn she was professional and committed even when we felt at our lowest, she lifted our spirits with positivity and a smile. I had a total knee replacement on Monday 12th January and when she offered help with packing for our imminent exchange to completion - 3 days on Monday 19th January, we felt very grateful for that offer - which we gratefully accepted. She came over to us with her Marigolds and cleaned and help pack up our home - She went above and beyond the call of duty. You should be very proud to have her on your team. I’m not sure how often both the seller and the buyer in the same property transaction give a 5 star review to the estate agent handling it, but I’m more than happy to be the buyer doing so where the seller (Karen Taylor) already has! Fine & Country Marlborough office did a great job sending me details of properties likely to be of interest and showing them to me, and I am delighted with the cottage I’ve bought through them. Kate couldn’t have been more helpful, dealing with queries regarding the property, the area and local services, professionals and tradesmen. I can’t recommend her and the agency more highly and have and will certainly further spread the word to friends looking in the area.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Kate at Fine and Country could not have been any better In fact I would say definitely one of the best estate agents I’ve had the pleasure to have met. The whole buying process really could not have any simpler. The main thing I want from an estate agent above all else is great communication skills and Kate had this in abundance. I could send her a WhatsApp message (yes WhatsApp, fine and country move ahead with the times) with a query I had and more times than not I would have a reply within a couple of hours sometimes minutes! From offer to completion the whole process took just over 10 weeks. Yes all parties had excellent solicitors which did help but again Kate was totally on the ball with all solicitors as well. Fine & Country - Marlborough, Devizes & Newbury In April 2023 we decided to put our beautiful home on the market and instructed a high street estate agent as sole agent. Despite everyone telling us how fantastic our home was we didn’t receive any offers and interest soon dwindled. In August 2023 we appointed Fine & Country Marlborough and what a totally amazing experience from day one! Kate Ormand was our contact and she was truly amazing! She worked tirelessly trying to sell our house and remained positive and encouraging even in times when the market was quiet. She always kept us updated and was always contactable. We cannot praise her enough. Ed and Pip from the Marlborough team were also always helpful and supportive. We sold our house recently and Kate made sure the whole process was as smooth as possible even in challenging times. We would highly recommend Ed and the team at Fine & Country Marlborough & Devizes. We instructed Ed after having a frustrating time with another agent. Right from the start we benefited from the personal service that Ed can offer, the marketing materials were prepared to a very high standard. The viewings were always fully accompanied and well organised to minimise disruption with with good transparency as to the positions of the interested parties. We ended up selling the house several times due to chains collapsing in a difficult market with Ed updating the marketing materials to keep them fresh. When it came to offers Ed was great at managing competing bids to get us the best value. As Ed expanded his team we continued to receive great support from Kate and Pip.
