The decision to sell my first home was by no means an easy one, but from the moment Nick came round to do a valuation until the day I handed in the keys, the service from Gateway Homes was top-notch! I have used Gateway Finance as mortgage brokers for a few years now, so was happy to see the excellent marketing package offered by Nick and his team at Gateway Homes. From seamless organisation of Home Report and outstanding photos and videos, to the fantastic communication, flexibility surrounding viewings and knowledgeable advice about the local market, Nick supportively got me through the process and my house sold with a fantastic offer within 8 days of being on the market! I couldn’t be happier with my decision to use Gateway Homes and highly recommend them to anyone considering selling a property in Edinburgh!

We can highly recommend Nick at Gateway Homes, he mananged the sale of our home. He was very professional and had great local market knowledge. Our property was unfurnished and Nick set our expectations that it would probably take longer to sell. We took his advice and opted for virtual staging and he did all the viewings for us. We did have some issues with the sale due to the incompetence of the buyer's solicitor. However Nick did all he good to smooth this out and we believe that if it wasn't for the realationship Nick had built up with the buyer the sale wouldn't have completed on time. Nick's constant updates and communication were second to none.

As prospective purchasers, we found the entire experience with Gateway Homes to be excellent. From the initial enquiry onwards, we never felt as if we were being pushed, but instead had open and honest discussions about what both parties were looking for. Well informed and knowledgeable about the local housing market, but also keen to listen and understand what we needed, Nick was great to deal with. Prompt communication, coupled with flexible viewing options, added to the overall experience. In addition, Nick went out of his way to share his market knowledge with us point us in the direction of properties we hadn't previously considered. Nick Scott was very helpful. Unlike other Estate Agents, he listened to our comments and acted as an effective liaison between the seller and the buyer in order to try to meet everyone's needs. He fully understands the need to have a good relationship not only with his client, but also with prospective purchasers. He was also knowledgeable about the property, evidence of the fact that he had found out all he needed to to sell the house. In dealing with one question we asked to which he did not know the answer, he immediately phoned the seller to give us the answer.

I recently sold my property through Gateway Homes, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. Nicholas, the owner of the company, was absolutely brilliant throughout the process. His one-to-one communication and constant accessibility made a real difference. He was always available to answer questions and provide reassurance. From the start he was by far the most interested in our property, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the area as well as professional and very personable. Delighted with the service received from Nick and Gateway Homes. From start to finish he was incredibly helpful and professional. He gave us great advice and managed to sell our house in 4 days. Other houses in the area were on sale for 6 months before selling. Nick also gave fantastic recommendations for a photographer, we were delighted with the images and videos that were captured.
