GoogleI am delighted to be given the opportunity to share my experience with DMD Law. Two years ago I made the decision to sell my home in Corstorphine and then hopefully downsize. Your Company was recommended to me by a recent seller and so, following an initial phone ' lovely James' visited me straight off the plane from a family holiday and explained the whole process to me. I was SO impressed that I handed the sale over to him and within days great photos had been taken, the Home Report was completed and my house was market ready. I sold my house well and within 7 DAYS thanks to lovely Carmen who organised all the viewings. In the meantime I had viewed a property that was perfect for me and so asked James to put a Note of Interest with the seller and so 48 hours after selling my property James went back on my behalf and sealed the deal and I had a new home to go to. Everything went according to plan and 2 months later I completed both the legal sale of my house and the purchase of my new house with Mr Anderson of your Company and I am now happily living in my new home in Craiglockhart.
The service that I received from all staff that I came in contact with was first class and also friendly and I have no hesitation in recommenfing your Company to potential buyers and sellers.

GoogleOffer was accepted on property then later found out owner had died would be at least 3 months before I could buy it as would have to go through Probate. They went over my options as my property had also sold. They knew a contact at sellers Solicitors and spoke to them about options so I could still buy it but not wait as long. We didn't hear anything for a few weeks so assumed could not buy and spoke to them about another property, made offer that was accepted. Few days later called to say solicitors from original property in touch and I could still buy it so agreed exchange date etc so that tied in with the sale of my flat. It was stressful but the help and advice they provided to get the property I wanted I was so grateful as I don't think any other solicitor would have given me the same service and I would use them again.

GoogleDMD Law are exceptional solicitors. They are extremely fast and responsive, and offer great value for money. I have engaged them for buying and later selling a property in Edinburgh. When I purchased the property, the process from calling them until collecting the keys took about 10 days (including getting a mortgage as a foreigner). When selling, they have called me several times with updates, and gave me very valuable advice on the market value and strategy on advertising it, resulting in a fair deal even in a relatively quiet winter period. I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

GoogleA generally poor experience. Low engagement levels from the business and invariably missed contact deadlines. Change of contact during the process was not communicated to me and legal tasks left hanging until I approached business to enquire as to the reason for the next of many delays.
Probably an ok company for low level stuff but not a viable proposition for serious legal matters that require attention in a reasonably timely fashion
