GoogleArranged a viewing and travelled from Manchester to Sheffield taking a day off work and arriving early only to wait 40 minutes with another couple who'd come for a viewing before finding out our viewings had been cancelled with no emails sent informing us of this. Phoneline was useless as its all automated.

GoogleReally pleased with Gold Key! Special shout out to Michael who has been incredible over the last 18 months. Always responds promptly to questions or problems. Anything that needed fixing was dealt with promptly and professionally, unlike other agents I have dealt with in the past. GoogleJayne is absolutely lovely, always very nice. She is always at hand and can always get in touch with her easily, as our main point of contact she had made renting very easy!! Russel is also very nice, we had a issue with our sink and sorted it straight away. All staff are lovely. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a brilliant agency to let though :-)PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Googleplease steer clear we are a small family run business specializing in powerflushing (clearing blockages in central heating systems) we where contacted by jayne to carry out a full powerflush in sheffield we explicity informed jayne that we would not deal with tenants and all contact was to be done via jayne and tenant. We then gave jayne a date to carry out a powerflush on the central heating system and was accepted we then attended on date agreed and jayne had given the tenant no instructions ie jayne if we are repairing plumbing and heating system we will require access to said plumbing and heating system however there was no access to attic no access to boiler no access to radiators no access to hot water tank cupboard. We then informed jayne of the situation and explained that we would send an account to cover our costs 50% lower than original costs (we only wanted our costs covered) as off now no payment. Steer clear absolute jokers and jaynes response was i didnt realise you would need access to the plumbing lol. bad news

GoogleNot happy was with you,s for 5 years never missed on rent we left the house very clean and you kept our deposit saying house wasn't clean enough .... It was clean wife spent days cleaning everywhere before handing in the keys wife rang your office a few times about our deposit back and still no money back.......

GoogleWe called Gold Key for information and advice when we were considering either to sell or let our property. Russell came to see us with lots of leaflets and written information that he left with us to help us make a decision. He was very helpful and followed up after the appointment with an email containing further information. A very helpful and friendly service and I would definately recommend them.

They are a friendly team who provide a professional, reliable and efficient service for the landlord and our tenant too. GoogleKEEP AWAY FROM THIS LETTING AGENT I WOULD NEVER EVER RENT FROM THEM AGAIN OR RECOMMEND FOR ANY BUSINESS - they seem to be increasing their profit by giving expulsion notice to tenants. Section 21 of Housing Ac t(2 months notice) - so every year the house will be back on their book, tenants on the street looking for a new property (incurring additional agency fees and moving cost) and w/o any explanation being given... No regards to the rent being paid on time every months - you would understand that working full time and looking after children's does not give you so much time for house hunting Landlady didn't move back in the house nor she sold it (this was the reason given by Goldkey when confronted to it) ! But nowadays landlord / agency do not have to provide any reasons to move you out and they are taking FULL ADVANTAGE OIF THE SITUATION WITH COMPLETE DISREGARD TO THE INDIVIDUALS. I thought the way Goldkey handled this was despicable - they asked " can you not move and stay at a friend for a few weeks and pout your furniture in storage - @ this point we had secure a house, paid fees but were 3 weeks late on the moving out date which we should have been grateful to the land lady for the extension !! as opposed to be kicked out in the street, more or less like an old dog that people just don't want anymore.

GoogleI've contacted them and got a quick reply for a viewing. After seeing the property I immediately sent an email saying I was interested in renting. They never replied my emails nor the text messages I've sent. Completely ghosted me. This is in no ways a good way to treat possible customers.
