GoogleAnton (Bree Prenton) has managed my leased commercial property for six years now, and have gone above and beyond to help my business grow, stabilise and flourish. Anton has always been a quick phonecall away, and has been an excellent, reasonable, fair and friendly agent with our best interests in mind as we rack up up the years.
Thank you Anton, Jack, and all at Bree Prenton!

GoogleMany are aware of the owners questionable past, but put that aside and you have a man that is willing to work hard (3 days a month)
I asked this company to let my property and they were eventually willing to list it after vigorously vetting me and making sure that I was sure I was willing to let it.
After just 7 months of it being listed, we were delighted to hear that we’d had an enquiry. It was from a large recognisable logistics company. The agent from Bree Prenton carried out checks on the company and found a negative news article about them from 13 years prior and decided he wasn’t happy to let the property to them and insisted “he was doing us a favour”
After 11 months I’d realised our listing had no photos of the property so when I question the agent he said “photos are for instagram, I know what I’m doing”. I insisted that we needed to show off the property so he took screenshot of my address off google street view BEFORE THE BUILDING WAS EVEN BUILT!
After nearly two years, I couldn’t believe that it still wasn’t let. When I called for an update, I was met with some hard words. One phone call went along the lines of “do you know what it’s like working in a busy office like mine. You need to watch The Wolf of Wall Street to understand what it’s like working in this office”
When I googled their office, it looks to be a small car garage, so this didn’t make much sense to me.
I have since moved my property to another agent locally and it was let within 3 weeks.

GoogleHave dealt with Anton & Jack for a considerable time & both are standout & honest individuals. But Jack just has poor taste in football teams :)

GoogleWe employed Bree Prenton in relation to a listed buildings application. We were extremely unhappy with the service we received and would not recommend them. We found them online and not through a recommendation which is always a risk I suppose.

Hello Jeremy. We are saddened at the review and understood the matter (having been addressed through our in-house complaint’s procedure) was resolved albeit that it was clear you were not happy.
As you are aware you/your partner instructed the Planning Team specifically to prepare and submit a Listed Building Application, for which a contract was signed & was completed successfully.
Your complaint was in respect of Building Regulations advice which as you are aware was not requested nor instructed and would always require a separate application.
Furthermore, you were given an initial reduction on fees, additional time to pay & for clarity we had in fact been recommended to you (not found through google) & can provide an email in this regard if required.
We always wish our clients are happy with the result but it seems despite achieving what we were instructed upon you are dissatisfied. It is apparent we can do no further to improve upon this result.

Googlehandled my planning application brilliantly. Clear advice, quick responses and genuine professionalism. They made a stressful process feel manageable. Highly recommend. It’s was worth spending the money to stay in my current workshop after some new local resident made it difficult for me. Cath over came the problematic issues thrown up my planning. Took over a year to complete and a load of cash but we got there in the end

GoogleBree Prenton have been my managing agents since their formation, and I am very happy with the service and advice provided. As well as working with the retail tenants, they have overseen the planning and management of property alterations and conversions as well as handling the occasional problem, all carried out with a friendly and positive attitude.

GoogleWe (Oldfield Smith) cannot speak more highly of Bree Prenton. We work regularly with them as joint agents and collaboratively on landlord and tenant matters. Always a pleasure working with Jack and Anton - would highly recommend.

GoogleTenants - They will work quickly in order to get the next person through in order to meet their targets, and act professional when money is due - this is when they will contact you enthusiastically. However, the letting agent will highly likely treat you coldly like you are a product in a business transaction. They will not help to make property like a home, they will give you extensive rules in the lease, many of which are simply unreasonable. In an furnished place the contract might ask you not to keep your bicycle on the premises or suggest you to be responsible for repairs or cleaning tenants normally aren't - for example of the outside. You get the sense that you're expected to act like it is not your home, and to pay extra for things beyond your bills and rent. It is not a good agent for those who are considerate and respectful, as you will not be treated in a way which respects you.
Landlords - They likely will upset or chase away the good tenants you would rather have. The ones that would look after your property well, and treat it with love, respect, working hard to maintain it and staying long term. This is due to the inflexible and attitude of the agent. There is a reason why it might take a long time for your flat to be rented out.

GoogleJack helped us secure our dream retail unit. He has been honest and professional throughout the whole process. He has gone out of his way to help us as incoming tenants at every stage. I'd recommend Bree Prenton to landlords and tenants alike.
