We were renting an apartment, and after two years, we were given a one-month notice to vacate due to the apartment being sold. Okay, we accepted. We had trouble finding another apartment, so we asked the agency if it was possible to continue living in the apartment until it sold. Of course, we make the apartment available for viewing at any time. They replied that yes, of course, no problem, and the owner agreed. We lived there for two months, finally found the right house for us, and reported that we no longer needed to live there. A check-out was completed. Everything was great, no complaints, pleasant and pleasant. We received our deposit back. You could say everything ended as it should. Unfortunately, a few months after moving out, we received a letter from a bailiff for an alleged debt we hadn't repaid. We were shocked. We tried to explain what this was for and what it was about. It turned out that the agency and the owner had accused us of illegal occupation of the apartment, which resulted in the owner incurring costs because she couldn't sell the apartment. Of course, this wasn't true; for two months, no one even came to view the apartment. We received emails from the agency, which said everyone was fine with us living there until something was found. Having hard evidence, we wanted to clarify this as quickly as possible. Of course, the agency washed their hands of it, having proof in the email they sent us... we got bailiffs, and there was no way to get out of it. We were paying almost £900 for something we didn't do, and it was the agency's fault. Of course, no one ever bought the apartment, and the owner moved in alone. Peter Gamble treated us horribly. Completely unprofessional. They caused us the costs and stress of dealing with the bailiff. They didn't send us any letters warning us about the situation, but they knew where to send the bailiff. I strongly advise everyone against this agency. Avoid them!

Peter Gamble & Co are the property managers for a flat in the local area. This flat since the start of the tenancy has been OVERCROWDED - statutory overcrowding is a criminal offence under the Housing Act. The individuals living at the flat have also caused multiple nuisances over many months to residents. This has all been reported to Peter Gamble & Co with clear evidence, however, the above issues continue to unfortunately persist. This has been a nightmare scenario, that Peter & Gamble & Co must ensure comes to an end asap!

Should be NO STARS! BEWARE any house sellers you are not getting all the viewings! As a potential purchaser of a property in Perivale I asked to view 2 properties. Yes a property will need to be sold (as in most cases) but no mortgage application needed and yet refused the viewings of those properties as Peter Gamble deems us “not proceedable”. Surely, it is up to the sellers whether they accept our offer or another person’s offer! Seems to me that properties are being kept for particular kinds of ‘special’ people associated with Peter Gamble. Sellers want to sell their property not have people refused to even view. There are many more estate agents where I can view properties but I will NEVER contact Peter Gamble again. UPDATE since response received - Response is rubbish when speaking to the agent she said she had spoken to Rob and the decision made we were 'not proceedable' was made by them NOT the sellers, I asked the same question on who made the decision of 'not proceedable' on at least 3 occasions, it was clear it was made by Peter Gamble NOT the sellers. Accept you have been caught out and stop lying to con people to use your service (you do not even have the courtesy to return a call when trying to book viewings when you say that you will, it takes potential purchasers to contact you to see if the viewing will take place to then be told a load of rubbish)

Eventually, we found a suitable home and informed the agency that we no longer needed to stay in the apartment. A check-out was done, everything was great, no issues, very pleasant experience. We received our deposit back and positive references. You could say everything ended as it should. Unfortunately... a few months after moving out, we received a letter from a bailiff about an alleged debt we hadn’t paid. We were shocked. We tried to find out what this was all about. It turned out the agency and the landlord had accused us of illegal occupancy, claiming that the landlord incurred losses because she couldn't sell the apartment. This was, of course, untrue, during the two months, no one even came to view the flat. We have emails from the agency clearly stating that everyone was okay with us staying there until we found something else. Armed with this evidence, we wanted to clarify everything as soon as possible. The agency, of course, washed their hands of the matter, even though we had proof in their emails. We received a bailiff order that couldn’t be revoked and ended up paying nearly £900 for something we didn’t do, all because of the agency’s fault. Naturally, no one ever bought the apartment, and the landlord moved in herself. Peter Gamble treated us horribly. Completely unprofessional. Because of them, we suffered financial loss and stress related to the bailiff. They never sent us any warning letters about the situation, but they knew exactly where to send the bailiff. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this agency. Stay far away!
