GoogleWhen I was selling my house there was a flurry of interest from local agents, and I found them all pretty pushy. I chose Grimshaw because I knew they wouldn't be hassling me, and I didn't think they were about just making a much money as possible. I thought they were honest and decent throughout, perhaps not the most pushy on selling a house, if that's what you want.
Liz was great to deal with- I bought my house off her and decided to sell it with her- and really specifically her- when I came to sell, as I trusted her and felt I could always lean on her for general advice. Fundamentally you want someone nice to gain the commission for selling your house, and I thought she was that person.

GoogleFound Grimshaw online accidentally but it was immediately clear they were managing some of the best listings in the area.
Liz went out of her way to show us around, generously sharing her expertise and local context. Highly professional, prompt and friendly - Liz was a fantastic agent to have throughout the buying process. It really couldn’t have been a smoother experience.
If you want to be around Ealing, you should connect with Liz and Grimshaw.

GoogleI cannot recommend Grimshaws highly enough. From the initial consultation to closing the sale, the level of professionalism, friendliness, and support they provided was unmatched.
In every interaction, whether it was with Liz or any member of their team, I felt like I was in safe and capable hands. Their dedication to their clients is evident in everything they do.
If you're looking for an estate agent that combines expertise with a personal touch, Grimshaws Estate Agents is the way to go. Thank you, Liz and the entire Grimshaws team, for making this a positive experience. Your hard work and dedication are truly appreciated.

GoogleWe chose Grimshaw because of its reputation in the area. They have some of the best properties on the market and we felt we were in very good hands when we added ours to their portfolio. They were professional, realistic and worked hard to ensure we had many viewings. Once the house was sold we were taken through the process of selling with regular updates and explanations of everything that was going on.
Trust, reliability and confidence is important in this process and Hugh & Liz delivered!

GoogleProfessional, sales-focused, well-established, family firm with experienced staff and good local knowledge. Liz and the team managed to get us a sale at a difficult time and when other agents failed. If you are selling a property in Ealing then I do not believe you will find a better agent than Grimshaw & Co.

GoogleI felt very comfortable dealing with Liz in the sale of the house of a late friend. She wasn't at all pushy and I felt that she and her team knew the local market very well, having sold similar properties nearby. These days, I think potential buyers tend to scour the property portals online first and then approach whichever agent/s their shortlist is with. But even so, the way the agent handles the sale is crucial for the seller. In my case, there were delays in the process - largely due to Ealing Council - and I'm sure Liz had to appease the buyer more than once, for which I am very grateful.

GoogleMyself and my partner have recently been working closely with Liz at Grimshaw & Co for a property purchase in Ealing. She was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and we were really pleased to have found a property through them. Any questions that we had were dealt with promptly and professionally, and we felt great throughout the whole process.
All in all, an incredibly positive experience, and if we were to ever sell in the future, we would go straight back to Grimshaw & Co. Thanks Liz for all your help!

GoogleI bought a property via Grimshaws so I wasn't really their client but nonetheless they were outstanding. Liz dealt with the sale and I also met Hugh and others at viewings which were always straightforward. Liz helped enormously throughout the process, monitoring emails between solicitors and helping me and the sellers to work through inevitable doubts and questions that came up. We just beat the 31st March deadline to avoid the increase in stamp duty and it was Liz that pushed it through when I had given up. Obviously Liz had her own motivation but nonetheless, communication was excellent throughout and based on my experience as a buyer, I would not hesitate to choose to sell through Grimshaws.

GoogleGood service from Liz & the team, even when we had a few special requests for access pre-completion. We've never bought in the UK and had a ton of questions (more than most, I think!), we also needed plenty of referrals to service providers. Our seller/vendor's solicitor seemed to also do his conveyancing job as a part-time gig, which made it hard to get prompt answers. That said, Liz got us more feedback and progress on matters, than anyone else in the process!

GoogleA difficult house sale for an elderly relative for whom we had power of attorney was made easy and less stressful by Grimshaws. They found a buyer extremely quickly, checked the status of the buyer and liaised with both sets of solicitors throughout . Their staff were tactful and concerned .They understood the need for speed given the health needs of our relative, and coped sensitively and competently at all stages of the process which, given that we live 100 miles, away was essential for our sanity ! We would not hesitate to recommend them.

GoogleI dealt with an estate agent to enquire about a property in Ealing. I submitted an offer and the Eatate agent said she thought it’s low but she will forward offer you the vendor. I chased the estate agent twice for an answer back but she never had the courtesy of replying back. I consider this totally unprofessional.

GoogleEnquired about several properties in the last several months. Was told they would speak to the vendor and come back to me with an appointment, however no reply back
Not sure if they are selective in who they like to sell their properties to but they do not seem very enthusiastic, or responsive either.
Not professional at all.

GoogleVery slow to respond and very divisive in their approach. I understand they are well established and have a history in the area, which makes me feel this is the kind of firm which would’ve had a No BLACKS, No IRISH, No DOGS.
