Really really bad agency

Really really bad agency, worst service ever encountered, especially the hyde park branch.it is always hard to contact them to get things fixed, or get any in-time reply. When we wanted to renew our contract they always pushed back either later or to someone else and then in the end we couldn't make it;Worst part is that they even ignored our deposit refund request (which should be naturally reasonably refunded), even though we check-out several days in advance + hired professional cleaning service they recommended. Again they pushed back to someone else or to the landlord, or to sometime later, anyway after one month we still haven't got our deposit refund back and there's no one taking care of this, they only care about their next tenant, once the deal is made they are just like "vanished", no service at all, completely mess, wouldn't recommend at all !

We have been renting properties managed by CJ Delamere who then turned into Dexters for nearly 8 years. We were never late with our rent and rarely made any demands on the landlords. However, the last time we moved out - they are trying to extract from us over £500 for cleaning a small unfurnished 3 bedroom house and £200+ for tidying the garden. A total of £700 for a small house with just some cleaning? It is now 2 months later - and they still have not repaid our deposit which was nearly £2K. All the house needed was a deep clean for the new tenants. So, make sure you protect your deposit - if not you will enter into a prolonged dispute and make sure to take photographs at the outset of all the damage to the property when you move in.

Lily S has been absolutely amazing throughout the whole process; I am well aware that estate agencies need to cater to the needs of landlord primarily, particularly in such a market, however her approach made it into an easily palatable experience for me as well. It was palpable she wanted to provide me with most accurate advice and even when negotiating she ensured we are not wasting each other's time. Her enthusiastic and pleasant demeanor made the viewing and all of our conversations very enjoyable, particularly as I needed to attend from afar and it required a lot of time in a busy period of my life. Overall, as the process came to a happy end, I can wholeheartedly recommend her as an estate agent, as well as Dexter's Ealing in general, as her colleagues were very helpful on different occasions, too. Personally, it was a really refreshing experience to interact with such a professional, yet friendly person and shall I need their services in the future I will happily come back, as well as recommended them to others. 10/10 ✌️

Had a very poor experience with their lettings team, very aggressive sales tactics, locker room behaviour, provocative and rude staff. They just wouldn't listen and presented me with properties that had nothing to do with what I was looking for. Proper time and energy wasters. Luckily plenty other agencies in the area that are just so much better.

I’m Luke warm about my experience with Dexters. I was not impressed with the way they overvalued my property to entice me in. I had to keep on them to get through a cash sale that really should have been much more straight forward although the buyers solicitor was a nightmare. I didn’t really feel they represented my interests fully but they did get a sale in the end. Though it was well below asking price. At the end of the day I felt like just another seller on their conveyor belt
