Richard Evans on behalf of Alexander’s went the extra mile for us when our tenants left the house without paying rent and in a bad state. On behalf of Alexander’s he managed the transition to new tenants ensuring all work required was performed to a high standard, he then followed up with the relevant authorities to pursue the previous tenants and gained all outstanding payments on our behalf. I can not recommend Alexander & Co highly enough, we used them for our recent property sale and right from the start the service we received was excellent. Julia needs a very special mention as she is amazing at what she does, she communicated with us all through the process was so warm and friendly and was the reason we picked Alexander & Co and we did not regret it. Rhys also needs a mention as during viewings he was so friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble. And finally Lauren from the sales administration team, well what can I say she is just brilliant!! My partner and I have had such a lovely experience renting through Alexander and Co. They answered all of our questions. Always picked up the phone. Other companies would leave us standing waiting infront of a rental and not even show up or answer our calls. Connor was the best agent that we have worked with. I was looking to move for several months. As a single mother working full time I was having no luck. Then I had a conversation with Stuart and wow this completely changed my views on estate agents. Stuart was the kindest person, took time to listen to my needs and understand my situation. The process was so easy, and everything could be done online. I would recommend anyone to go to these guys first before trying anyone else. I had months of being turned down for houses I knew I could afford all because I am alone. Very pleasant experience renting out my property. Lesley was so helpful and took care of the property and the tenants very well. I barely worried about my property and the tenants as I knew it was always handled by them. I was a first time landlady and was anxious but A&Co took care of everything. Their emails were informative and were always working to improve their systems. For personal reasons I had to stop letting out the property, but I wouldn't hesitate going back to them.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We sold our house through Alexander as a house we wanted was for sale with them so felt it was easier. Everything was fine at the beginning but once it was on the market and we had like 3 viewings, there was no interest in selling it. One person viewed ours and wanted it but had to sell their house still but to Alexander that meant 'someone wants it, let's not bother anymore'. During the pandemic, our house sale fell through yet we didn't find out through our own agents who were Alexander. We had a weekly courtesy call from the estate agents we were buying through but not a peep from Alexander, the estate agents we are paying. When we resold, we complained so suddenly they took an interest for about 5 minutes. When we exchanged contracts and were agreeing move dates, I was doing all the leg work and heard absolutely nothing from Alexander. Since talking with others, I have not heard anyone with one good thing to say about this company. I can't believe I had to pay them nearly £4000 yet the other estate agents helped me and kept in contact with me far more. This is only a snippet of the issues we had so you can only imagine how stressful our move was. We had recently started looking for a new rental property in a different county so we were basically looking blind. I started looking on Rightmove where I located a house we wanted to see, I was put into contact with Liene at Alexander and Co who arranged a viewing. The property was not what we were looking for but Liene told us about something that had just come up on the market. After seeing the property we fell in love and were so fortunate that we were able to move in. Through the whole process the team were brilliant, always keeping us involved and keeping us up to date. The whole process was super smooth and dealt with so much professionalism that we would very much work with them again. Stuart was particularly brilliant, he was so approachable with any questions we had around the property, and always responded in a timely and friendly manner.
