GoogleCormac was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when purchasing a property. It's easy to see that he has been in the business for a considerable time and genuinely has the best interests of his clients (both sellers and buyers) at the forefront of his actions at all times. He is proactive, understanding and goes above and beyond in his efforts to get things to a positive conclusion. At no time do you feel he is just trying to sell or steer you in any direction, but just helping to move things forward and ensure that what is needed gets done. Everyone in the Dungarvan office has been very professional, helpful and with a super friendly manner and approach. No hesitation in recommending this office of Sherry Fitzgerald and Cormac especially to anyone buying or selling a property.

We as a customer we have right to know what is the reason for unsuccessful. I have applied for more than 10 houses not even one I got a viewing. I understand there is a huge demand and applications. But I have applied at the very first moment it is posted. We are a full time working with clean record and I have mentioned it to them in my intro. I really don't understand how transparent they're in this process. It leads to doubts of internal dealings and unfair procedure. I appreciate you technology of automated process but when customers are spending time to fill in details and showing serious interest. Isn't your options to take your time in reviewing the application fairly to give an opportunity for the serious applicants.

My property was a new townhouse in a very sought after attractive area. When I enlisted my property with SF they promised they had a database of interested customers and my house will sell quickly. I was under the impression that the size of SF would work for my benefit but I turned out to be wrong. I was "just another customer". There was no personal touch or effort put into selling my house. In fact they brought the digital team to do the marketing piece a day AFTER I moved out, when the house was a total mess and without staging anything - showing the house "as is" (and actually worse). At one point the agent advised me to sell the house at a lower price than the one THEY recommended to list the property under. So either they overpriced the property or they didn't deliver! Either way I found their service very unprofessional and very very disappointing.

I went into the Westport branch of the franchise to enquire about the cost of a valuation, I was told there would be no charge ( to quote their website ' Thinking of selling your property? This is a free service and there is no obligation to engage our services, so if you need a valuation for selling your property we're ready to help. ).Nobody showed up for the first appointment, I had to chase confirmation of the second subsequent to which I received an email informing me there was a charge of €200 plus vat for the valuation as I had mentioned during the viewing I was considered marketing the property myself.

Instructed Sherry Fitz to sell my home this year - just after the post-Christmas lock-down.The environment was uncertain and stressful. Their quiet competence and confidence was just great. We worked out the pre-sale spending budget, and they were active with meeting my requirements. The standout for me was when there was a bump in the sale path, they were proactive and honest. They also behaved very ethically when dealing with the bidders which I found comforting. Overall, I can't imagine talking to a different agent when selling again. I dealt with Barry Ensor and Andrea Whelan in Rathmines office.

GoogleI understand that sometimes a message slips through but this is something else. I enquired about a rental through Daft and decided to give the number on the ad a call. It went to voice mail, the voice mail message said to ring David. I called David's mobile number and he rejected my call, I left a voicemail, I wouldn't mind but he didn't call back. I decided to check the ad again and saw that Gerardine was the agent overlooking the rental. I emailed, not expecting a response until the next day. The next day came, no response from David or Gerardine. I decided to call Gerardine, voice mail, sent a text letting her know I tried calling. Called later, same thing again, texted asking her to let me know when a good time to call would be and that I had a deposit and references ready to go, no response. I got in touch with customer support on the overall Sherry Fitzgerald site, they contacted the office and told them to call me back. They were apologetic. The ad was taken down around 10pm. Today comes round, still no call, text or email, I contact customer support again to ask if the house is still available because sometimes I've been offered two houses after the ads were removed. They couldn't tell me but gave me Cormacs number. I text him and he tells me the house is gone. I appreciate the fact that he answered his phone. I hope this review won't negatively effect him as these mistakes were predominantly the from the agent assigned to the property. If I treated my potential clients this way, I would never get referrals or repeat business. The lack of professionalism in this industry is absolutely shocking. I'm upset the house is gone but that's life, what really annoys me is that they didn't give me a chance despite the ad being up, worse than that is that all they needed to do was answer the phone, reply to email or text me to let me know it was gone. Manners and common courtesy go along way and the Dungarvan branch have neither of these qualities.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

Really hate using Sherry Fitzgerald,In the process of buying property. I was interested in a property in Maynooth. I was obliged to register with their on line bidding system so as to give my offer. I was immediately out bid by 1st time buyer who would never get loan approval on this property as there were substantial alterations needed. If you want an auction try bidx at least you know everyone is playing the same game. So, if your selling with Sherry Fitz I wont be bidding unless its an absolute bargain pitched way below market value.

Totally Disgraceful. We heard that Sherry FitzGerald was a professional company, but how far from the truth was this. We sold our residential property with them. They found a buyer, but at this point everything went so wrong. A member of staff gave the potential buyer the key and let them enter the property unsupervised. We were unaware of this until we got a call from a neighbour stating the potential buyer had moved a static caravan into the rear garden by craning it over the roof. At this point the potential buyer had no insurance in place, they damaged the interior of the house and they were planning on living in the static caravan rent free before the contract was exchanged. The staff at Sherry FitzGerald did nit check the property to ensure this did not happen. You can imagine the extra stress this put on the seller as the interior of the property had been destroyed and there was a static caravan in the rear garden. If the sale had fallen through, I would have been in a world of pain as it would be up to me to put the house back to being sellable again. The directors of Sherry FitzGerald were concerned, not for the customer, but their business. We had nearly two weeks of stress and getting extra engineer reports completed. I would not recommend their services.

As we previously communicated with you, once we were made aware of this incident our team proactively brought the matter to a close. We have investigated the matter in full and despite it being highly unlikely such an incident will ever re-occur, we have put extra precautions in place to protect our clients. The unauthorised actions taken by the third party were inexcusable and beyond our control. We hope that now your sale has closed you can put this distressing incident behind you. We are so grateful to Julian, Michelle and the team in the Castleknock office for the highly professional, efficient and supportive service they provided for our elderly mother in the recent sale of the family home of 58 years. The house went on the market shortly before the lockdown and despite this we managed to complete the sale on 26th June. We were kept informed every step of the way and they were accessible and responsive if we had any questions. They always had our mothers safety and wellbeing as a priority. As a family we would highly recommend Sherry Fitzgerald.
