GoogleAled went above and beyond for our sale and purchase to go through. We didn’t have the easiest situation but aled was always very helpful and professional and gave us good advice.
He managed all the viewings for us which helped us massively.
I would definitely recommend aled and use him again If we did move.

GoogleWe have had the best tenancy with Aled as our estate agent. We had lived in our first rented accommodation for 8 years under Aled and he was always at the end of the phone to answer any questions or organise any issues that arose over the years, nothing was ever a bit of bother to him or too much trouble. He couldnt of made living in our wonderful home a more wonderful experience. Forever greatful to him for making our lives so easy as a young small family. I would highly recommend them to anyone in search of a home. Thanks for all you've done for us Aled, wishing you and your team all the best for the future. Vanessa and Tyler

GoogleAled went above and beyond to ensure our recent purchase was completed without any issue. Aled was extremely informative and knowledgeable at every stage of our house purchase as first time buyers. Would highly recommend if you are after a local reliable Estate Agent.

GoogleI’ve never had to chase an estate agent for a viewing on a property, I guess theirs a first time for everything… Chased multiple times after leaving my name and number with different staff members (like other reviews have stated) to then be in the dark about the viewing. Chased again today before I struck it off my shortlist, to be hesitantly told that it’s sold. Least I know what estate agent to avoid in the future that’s for sure.

GoogleCan't say enough good things about Aled and Limeswood. Aled went that extra mile to facilitate a smooth completion following some confusion over paperwork.
Thank you so much Aled for the work you put in to allow everything went without a hitch...

Googlewe had to pull out of a sale due to redundancy, the same day aled brought his invoice around. the solictors gave us a refund the mortage people didnt charge us and they did a lot more work for there money.
the finacial advisor he suggested to go with (so he got his commision) was useless you could never get hold of her, we did all the viewings ourselves, we leaised with the buyers ourselves.. he sent the occasional whatapp to me and uploaded the house onto rightmove and this all cost me £1300+ even thou we didnt move. he certainly didnt earn that money.. enjoy

We are always disappointed to receive feedback such as this as we pride ourselves on the level of service we provide (as can be seen on comments and reviews on our Facebook page).
In response to your review above we think it only fair that we give a background to your comments so that the readers can put things in context.
We were instructed by yourselves back in September 2020 (15 months ago) and have successfully found two separate buyers for your property.
In this period you have offered on (but not proceeded with) at least 3 onward purchases.
Buyer 1 was accepted, vetted and we managed the process through until we reached a point where she was ready to complete. She ultimately pulled out after 6 months (at a cost to herself) due to "having no faith" in your position to proceed.
The property was then remarketed (at a higher price to take into account movements in the market) and Buyer 2 was found.
We proceeded with Buyer 2 and, (like Buyer 1) we managed the process carefully and they were ready and waiting to complete.
With regards viewings we offer accompanied viewings to ALL our sellers (including evenings and weekends). It was your choice to carry out the viewings yourselves. Likewise it was your decision to exchange numbers with your buyers.
With regards the mortgage advisor (who by the way has an excellent reputation) - the truth is that you were chased and chased and chased for information - information that ultimately you did not provide. With this in mind it was impossible for her to proceed with your mortgage application without said information.
During the 15 months we have arranged for an EPC, advertised on Rightmove and other portals. advertised on Facebook, arranged viewings, called all viewers for feedback, negotiated sales (twice), arrange surveys and thereafter have chased the process by regularly contacting mortgage advisors, solicitors, buyers, yourselves as well as being in touch with a plethora of other estate agents who have at one stage or another been involved in the process.
From the very start we have been Professional, Diligent, Thorough and above everything else Patient. Nothing would have given us more pleasure that to move one of the buyers into the property (it is never nice to see buyers let down) but alas it was not to be.
We wish you and your family all the best for the future

GoogleMid October we saw a property up for rental i rang regarding possible viewing or virtual viewing i was told it had only been advertised for 1 hour and my details were taken. I was called back by Aled stating the property was tennanted until the end of October and promised me a call once the tennant had left i explained we were eager to see the property as it ticked all of our boxes! To this date i never recieved a call to book a viewing and as it had only been advertised for an hour i must have been one of the first people showing interest. I wonder if Limewoods treat all of their would be clients like this? We feel rather unhappy and badly let down

Karen - thanks for your message. Unfortunately the property in question never came onto the market as the tenant decided to stay.

GoogleCalled with regards to a property, took details and never got back to me with regards to a viewing. The property had just gone on to the market and is not on there anymore . Something defiantly fishy !
Keep up the great customer service

GoogleMy son was gazumped terrible service

Dear Susan
It disappoints us greatly when we receive reviews such as the above - 1 because you were nothing to do with the transaction in question and 2 - the review is based on factual inaccuracies on your behalf.
To explain further (so that members of the public are fully informed we will explain the chain of events in full)
Your son and partner viewed a property (twice) and on the second viewing put in an offer - an offer that was gladly accepted by the vendor (despite having a higher offer on the table at the time)
Less than 24 hours after making said offer your son contacted us to explain that they had serious doubts about the price and that he didn't think it was worth what they had offered and then in turn offered a lower amount.
This was put to the vendor who in turn questioned how committed your son was to the purchase and decided at that point to reject the revised offer and to proceed with the other offer on the table.
So to summarise - your son was not gazumped - he made an offer that was accepted but then less than 24 hours went back to the vendors with a revised (much lower offer).
So in light of the above I question how this is poor service from Limeswood - we acted professionally (as always) and relayed all messages to the vendor and also communicated the vendor's decison clearly to your son and partner. Based on the change of heart from your son they questioned his reliability in terms of the transaction and decided to go elsewhere - which is of course their right.
Thanks
