GoogleOutstanding service from start to finish! Speedy replies, incredible communication and kept me in the loop from start to finish. I cannot recommend them highly enough, they kept me informed every step of the way and made a stressful move feel like a breeze. Karen was a pleasure to deal with and Adrian moved things along to ensure everything went smoothly. Thank you all for finding me the perfect house!

GoogleWhat should have been a simple conversation turned into a disheartening and needlessly negative experience. I was treated with a level of disregard that was both unprofessional and unnecessary. If you're not deemed their "ideal" tenant, expect to be spoken down to and treated as an inconvenience rather than a potential client. For details, this was an elderly man who seemed to believe he knew everything and I was made to feel inferior without any questions to myself. This type of behaviour is completely unacceptable in any professional setting, let alone in an industry where communication and respect are essential. It’s unfortunate that one individual's attitude can tarnish the reputation of an entire agency, but in this case, it’s warranted. Unless this agency seriously reconsiders who they allow to represent them, I would strongly advise others to steer clear. There are far better agencies out there who will treat you with basic respect and courtesy.

GoogleWords of warning for whoever is unlucky enough to cross paths with the letting agent Tonks & Firkin. Unfortunately in todays climate we’re not all in a position to have a choice of who we deal with when renting a property, but if you have to deal with the above mentioned agency please be careful. Adrian Priddey in particular displays arrogant and chauvinistic behaviours. The agency will lie, make false accusations of entry when you return to collect your mail from the new tenant(I was actually collecting a certificate to work in dentistry and passport documents that weren’t redirected before handing the keys back over) and call the police without hesitation despite making no effort to listen. *there were two removal guys from Jays removals on the drive who witnessed me only stood on the end of the drive so I really wasn’t concerned about police involvement* - Take pictures when you move in - they will try to recover your deposit regardless if you make improvements and they “ok” them during interval inspections. - Don’t expect repairs to be addressed quickly and when you do report be prepared to be discredited even if you have knowledge on the fault you’re reporting. - Expect to be out of pocket with no thanks if you end up having to repair something yourself because they refuse reasonable request (broken fence in alleyways making unsafe from intruders, pest infestation on the day of move in; wasps in loft) - Be prepared to keep yourself safe when they don’t repair damaged brick walls and sheds - They will allow you to move in with previous occupants junk items filling the majority of storage space - They will expect you to live with old carpets and walls that haven’t been refreshed in years and yet charge you on move out to try and replace them (again, take photos!) I went to the office after claims I entered the property illegally to rectify the situation and I was accused of lying because I am not a director or in some high rolling profession - just a dental nurse, single mother and clearly a trouble maker! I am lucky enough to not have to rent again…but be warned, even if you are “a director” with a better profession than mine, it could still happen to you! To summarise; No customer service skills, rude, not supportive to tenants, your deposit is not protected because they will manipulate and scrutinise every part of your agreement in the contract, you will be made to feel uncomfortable in your own home on inspections especially if conducted by Adrian, you will probably be discredited if you are a woman or don’t fit a desirable profession and you will continue to have issues after moving out if you don’t redirect your mail in time! I wouldn’t even give them 1 star!
