I have know Joanne and her team for many years as they manage a property let for me, so M Coleman was an obvious choice, when selling my house. They did not disappoint. Joanne is a leader, who leads from up front and this hard working attitude is reflected in the other team members. I was kept well informed of every step in the process, which helps with the apprehension of moving. Joanne' s ability to communicate with the buyers, sellers and solicitors in the chain was outstanding and I believe was instrumental in the completion date being as early as possible. I would recommend this independent estate agency to anyone buying or selling property, as the service provided was a very personal one.

You never know what you're going to get with estates agents but I had Ben for the purchase of my current flat and he was amazing. I have never known an estate agent to be so proactive, reachable and communicative which was such a help, especially as the it was the first time I was buying on my own and after having to drop out of another property due to issues with the vendor and the estate agent. Unfortunately I had by far the most negative experience with Joanne and her colleagues out of any other letting agent I have dealt with in the time of being a landlord. Joanne and her team, on first impression, appear to be professional and knowledgeable however you soon realise that Joanne is completely loquacious and the vast majority of what she says is covering up for her and her colleagues ineptitude. I especially want to highlight the total incompetence of a certain member of her letting team who has absolutely no idea what she is doing and is a complete liability to both landlords and tenants. I doubt this woman has had much training or education in general and do believe that she alone cost me a few months in lost rent. I had one particular incident with Joanne where I had to correct her and instead of dealing with the matter professionally she decided that all communication thereafter was to be completed over email. This was incredibly frustrating and laborious as a landlord, and I am sure for the new tenant, when trying to negotiate a new tenancy prior to Christmas. This did come in helpful when, further into the communication, she completely contradicted herself and, had this not been highlighted, would have cost me even more money in the future. It is very obvious that all Joanne cares about is fees and she says what she needs to say in order to achieve this, often at the expense of others. No doubt if she responds to this review it will be full of verbiage with no acceptance of fault - her way of dealing with everything. Overall M Coleman showed a complete lack of professionalism and competence.They not only cost me time and money but also caused unnecessary stress. If you're a landlord looking for reliable, professional service, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.

Team Coleman were excellent when dealing with a recent house sale. For personal reasons, it took a very long time before we actually actually put the house on the market. In all that time, they never once pushed us before we were ready, & we really appreciated that. The staff are all very helpful & lovely, from answering the phone to completing the actual sale. Calling in to the office, it was always calm & welcoming. Ben & Joanne are great at communicating. In fact, Joanne worked tirelessly with various parties to gain information over a 'blockage' caused by another agent in the chain. Without her involvement, I am sure it wouldn't have reached competition day when it did! Thank you Team Coleman, you are definitely recommended. :)

These property agents are dishonest and are renting properties unfit for human habitation My son had rats running around in the ceiling of his rental proper being managed by Coleman’s which in over six months did not resolve. He also had too run two de humidifiers constantly to try and keep up with the damp problem in the property which was present when they started there tenancy this was known by the agent and not passed on they also manage 3 other flats in the same property all with damp issues and rat problems. Coleman’s have now rented this a damp and rat infested property to someone else !!! They had over 6 months to resolve these issues and never solved either. This will be now reported to South Glous environmental health team as a health hazard. Before anyone rents a property from this company make sure you ask why the previous tenants moved out and are there any problems that they know about with the property.

I am posting this regarding the awful service and treatment my son had when renting Flat 1 Clarendon Mews through M Coleman. This was my son’s first experience of moving away from the family home and I found the flat for him on rightmove. The flat was damp from the outset and this problem was ignored. The flat was not in a good state of repair either one kitchen drawer front falling on my foot causing bruising when visiting within a few weeks of him moving in. Then the rat infestation started. M Coleman did nothing and were in fact very dismissive and rude. I paid the office a visit and the lies they told were off the scale saying my son never reported the issues. He has a file of evidence to support that he in fact did report repeatedly. My husband paid a visit to the property to unblock drains to try to sort the damp issue as no-one else would do this. Unfortunately my son was unable to stay in the flat due to the rat infestation, even the light fittings moved where the rats were running in the ceiling. M Coleman found my son another property when he reported health issues due to the damp in the flat. He moved out the weekend (sorry to those who are moving in). The landlord would not let them go early but not only that, after myself and my daughter cleaned the property to the standard it was moved into in September including having the oven cleaned (and the bloody drawer front falling on my foot again), my son received a letter to say some of the bottom of the doors were “dusty” and a few other downright lies and suggest that the landlord will withhold the deposit. I have photo evidence of the damp and mould and the condition the property was left in. This company are a disgrace, cruel vile bullies. My son has been so unwell physically and mentally dealing with this property, the nasty landlord and M Coleman’s gaslighting tactics that I have had to step in to support him. This review outlines only a fraction of what he has had to deal with. I have never known anything like this in my life. These are my photos, there’s a huge file held by my son that documents MUCH more. Please - stay away from this inhumane bunch of liars and crooks.

If you are looking to put your house on the market look no further. Jo and the staff sold our house and the service We received was outstanding. Through every stage they went the extra mile. Louise is incredibly really helpful and so professional just what you would want during your viewings. She is so pro active and helped to find suitable properties for our purchase. 3 agents came to see our lovely, very outgrown apartment. Joanne stood head and shoulders above the others and I was absolutely convinced she was who I wanted to work with on our sale. She instilled confidence, professionalism and utter competence throughout what was a long and emotional process. Lots of good news, lots of bad.
