We recently completed on a property with Bethany as the sales negotiator for the sellers. Right from booking the viewing through to completion, Beth was fantastic. We had regular updates, friendly communication, and understanding of our needs and circumstances. We never had to chase for anything; she was so proactive and knowledgeable about the whole process. We always knew how things were progressing and what would be happening next. Whilst we want to stay in our home for a very long time, we know where to go if we do want to sell/purchase. We have needed to write this review for so long but life has got in the way!! We moved into our new home in Hatfield at the end of September last year. This was a very long process due to the awful solicitors we had. Victoria from William H Brown is an absolute credit to them and we couldn’t have done this without her!! From making us laugh when I was overwhelmed with the extent of the work needed on the house to always being at the other end of the phone. She kept us up to date at least once a week if not more and was always there if we needed to get in touch. She contacted the solicitors whenever we were being fobbed off or ignored and always got us a response and an update. Even when we were all ready to move and van booked and the solicitors decided we would no longer be completing the next day she sorted this for us which pups have been an absolute disaster as we would have lost a lot of money but she worked her magic and got us moving the next day. Even if Victoria wasn’t at work or was on leave all the other people who work there are so friendly and nothing was ever to much trouble. Victoria made a very difficult move a lot less stressful and we will forever be grateful for this. Thank you so much.

Great service throughout from Becca and her team at Hatfield, I visited to view 1 property, Becca listened to my requirements and I viewed 3 properties as a consequence (1 of which wasn’t even on the market!) and fell in love with one! PLEASE STEER WELL CLEAR!!

Poor communication, false promises from sales, lettings and mortgage services. Started off great but once they've had your money they don't care about resolving any issues. Don't bother with the lifetime membership as you'll have to do all the work yourself. Don't bother with management services for letting a property either, they won't tell you about any problems and they'll let your tenants damage your property and steal from you without any reconciliation measures or compensation. I sold my flat over a year ago and I'm still battling with them and the Zero Deposit scheme to compensate me for my property being stolen and damage that I paid to fix for the new owner out of my own pocket. PLEASE STEER CLEAR, SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE!!

As a tenant this is the worst rental agency I've ever dealt with - expected more from such a big name

As a tenant this is the worst rental agent I've ever dealt with. 1) Difficult to get in touch with - they hardly ever answer the phone. 2) The property was dirty when we moved in, no inventory provided. 3) The property was managed by Sequence Ltd who have provided a very disappointing service - early on we were told (via a phone call and after several weeks of us asking) to arrange for repair of a maintenance issue ourselves and that this could be deducted off our rent afterwards, and that the landlord had instructed this. We never received the refund, they said because they didn't have records of that instruction. Several staff members had started then left during our tenancy which didn't help (we were there for 6 months). 4) We are now having to contact Tenancy Deposit Scheme to get our deposit back relating to a different issue, mostly due to our inadequate landlord who it seems is trying to claim a random amount of money anywhere he might get away with it (we left the property in a cleaner state than when we arrived to try to avoid any possible excuses for deduction from deposit). Sequence Ltd doesn't appear to know about or be bothered about the law and tenant's rights.

I would not trust these people

I would not trust these people, I emailed them to arrange a viewing on a tenanted property, no contact, after a couple of days I called them to arrange a viewing for same property, straight away the sales person tried steering me to another property instead, but I held firm, they said they would get back to me with an appointment, they never did, it’s now sold. They have preferred investors waiting in the background, other sectors would not get away with it.

All I can say is they are shocking

All I can say is they are shocking. They have a brilliant sales pitch to get you hook on using them to sell your property then once you agree the service they provide goes downhill from there. 99% of the viewings are time wasters as they are not vetted before viewing that they are even interested or proceedable to purchase. They promise open house viewing days but have never once done anything like that. Communication is poor and I'm always chasing them for everything. You get sent offers you accept them then they say the buyer has lowered their offer will you accept it.

Dealt with WHB for a while now and always been fairly impressed with there responses and can do attitude. But recently decided to use the morgage advisors side of the company. We were passed onto (Harley Banks) and from communication and belief he can get you the best rates and ways around problems when we first met him was brilliant although we were sceptical wondering is this just the speal to lure us in at the start. As time went on my god did he prove it communication again fantastic, on the ball at all times, problem solving, back and forth from morgage providers to household/life insurance, then back to us to keep us motivated and on the right track. If I ran an estate agents of my own he's exactly the employee I'd want working for me, you won't find better an absolute asset to WHB. Thank you so much for you help and support Harley really cant thank you enough for all your time and effort.
