Extremely disappointed with my experience using Rent Sorted. During our 4 years, mould build up was a real issue and was never dealt with despite having us sending pictures showcasing its progression. When moving out of my rental property, the agent tried to withhold £300 from our deposit for “cleaning damage and redecoration.” Each of these claims were laughable, considering we had text messages from this agent who had repeatedly stated how clean and well maintained we kept the property. Luckily our deposit was held by the Tenant Deposit Scheme who investigated the claims and we got our money back. We had extensive pictures and videos of the property when we moved in and when we moved out. We also had receipts from the mouldy carpet we replaced at our own cost, and before and after pictures of the painting we did to the property, again at our own cost. It took 5 months to get our money back. There was no compensation for having to wait this long.

Rented with rent sorted for 2 years. Got the house in a terrible condition and had to get cleaners to come back into the house to sort it as the house was frankly disgusting. After this a number of issues were reported to the landlord such as door handles, missing keys and broken showers which nothing was done about. The landlord then charged us £700 for leaving the house in a better state than it was received and also refused to speak to anyone but the lead tenant about anything during this time. Would not use this agency 👍

Never rented off this crowd, I'd advise against it. They require a non-refundable holding fee to be paid BEFORE sending tenancy documents. They also state that the money is non-refundable for any reason - including if they decide to reject your application. When questioned on this, Conan got very defensive and accused me of spending "90% of my salary on Paddy Power", which I found highly unprofessional, and then pulled the offer for tenancy. I'd advise all aspiring tenants to give a wide berth. Don't get fleeced by this crowd for nearly £1k of your hard earned money.

Have rented our house with this company for the last few years, have always been extremely helpful and any repairs that have needed done have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend them. Professional but friendly people.
