MISLEADING INFORMATION, RUDE, AGGRESSIVE AND NO ACCOUNTABILITY I have recently purchased a property through Burnett Davies with Easton and I can safely say their involvement was the low point of the entire process. They supplied me with false information on the marketing materials (the inclusion of a dishwasher on the particulars which was not present) and when challenged Alex Eastons attitude was cavalier, passive aggressive and flippant to say the least (you’d expect more attention to detail from a surveyor). I was asked (at a very late stage of the proceedings) if I’d simply like to withdraw (which is a highly questionable stance for an agent to take if you are the client vendor) and then to add insult to injury Bertie emailed me to (and I quote) tell me “The remainder of your chain are becoming increasingly frustrated and agitated (by you)” when the reason for my questions were valid and evidenced and also telling me I should “focus on the progression and momentum of your sale and purchase rather than wasting time on pettiness”. They have in no way shown professionalism or a duty of care to me as a client. This is further evidenced by The Property Ombudsman considering my complaint against them. If you’re considering selling, use someone else. These agents are careless with your biggest asset.

As a potential buyer i have never had such a bad experience of an estate agent. Have done several viewings and they never follow us up for opinion. Made an offer and minutes later he was texting my partner encouraging her re think without telling me and a drive a bigger offer. Duplicitous and dishonest. They didn’t even check we had funds or do any due diligence on us as buyers. They are letting down anyone they represent. Absolute cowboys.
