Hi, I would ask immediately the contract information and would be very with landlords and never rent a place with more than two other persons. They requested my employment management contact as reference. Only got aware of the contract conditions two days before moving in. Ended up signing an agreement with clauses that i would not normally agree, as pay a considerable fee to renew the contract. Sharing a house with 5 other persons, paying 800£ per month. Burton place, near the Gym Group Headington (oxford). Due to cleanliness issues (some of the tenents were used to that level of dirtiness), made thr Agency aware and got a " we have to respect other people standards of hygiene as they are from other nationalities". We all are, but there are limits and the situation was a unacceptable. Sudden marks of punches in the wall of your little home office might appear (maybe not Agency, but landlord warnings). I'm not easily intimidated. Due to employment reasons (i would risk to say, this situation at home may have contributed in ending my probabtion employment, as I was exceding expectations), I no longer needed the place. I requested to list the room once again, that I would pay the fee (400£). They said they listed but the fact is they never rented to anybody else for a period of 3 months. 800 + 800+ 800£ while not living there anymore. Im aware that other places in the same area rent their places in a matter of 2 weeks. I obviously believe that it was on purpose. Sole purpose of making pay 2400£ after losing my job.

We have rented through parkway for 4 years and I can whole heartedly say they have been fantastic, firstly with helping us initially find a property when our previous landlord gave us notice to leave(selling property), secondary through the whole tenancy they delt with us with ease and were on our side fully and lastly with our check out, again because the landlord was selling they aided us to move out early due to having a family and Christmas coming up and have again been on our side through every step of check out. I approached them after a stressful couple of years, with less than favourable circumstances, but David and the team were very understanding and did absolutely everything they could to understand my situation. My experience with parkway lettings has been fantastic. They went above and beyond to allow me to have my dog with me, as most rented tenancies I found would not allow dogs. Rented with parkway for just over two years and allways found them to incredably easy to work with. Having previously had issues with lack lustre estate agents who were slow to deal with major issues, the speed with which parkway dealt with minor maintenance issues was a welcome change (we usually saw Mick the maintenance guy within a day or so). Inspections and viewing where allways worked around us. Both at the start and finish or our tenancy with them they arranged with the previous tenant and the land lord to change our move in and out day to make it easier for us (they worked with the previous tank and to get us in a couple days earlier to coincide with our move out from previous flat and asked an extension from land lord to give us more time to search for a new home). All in all me and my wife really go on well with parkway and were a little bit sad to leave them.
