I also really like how we receive weekly email updates on the progress of the build - maybe you could go one further and attach a photo? I hope everything continues to go this smoothly!

Don’t buy a Crest Home! Poor quality and they won’t fix issues should they arise after the property is completed. They are willing to wash their hands of any after sales issues. Poor customer service.

Crest developed a set of town houses where most of the houses have issues with their roofs. Since I purchased the house the roof has had issues, in year 2 and 4 they came to try and fix it. Now in year 5 the roof continues to leak. They have basically told me to get lost and work it out with insurers. They took over 6 months to consider my emails and NHBC reports and washed their hands of it all whilst the leak got worse and progressed to mould and internal damage. They have not been interested in assisting in rectifying the problem which has been since day 1 and due to poor work and quality of work. Extremely poor customer - they fob you off to NHBC who offer 1/4 of what it would cost to fix the problem. Many in my development have had issues with Crest; best not to buy from them and to go with a reputable company. I CANT RESPOND to the Crest comment below (can’t find the function to); but I have not received any request for more information as they have stated. Since I have bought a home from you - you can find me on your customer service info @Crest

Excellent sales experience but pathetic after sales and snags not fixed

Reduced my 5 start rating to 1 star because after sales experience nose dived. Snags not fixed and it's close to 6 monthsMultiple appointments but my kitchen refrigerator has no doors - it's been 6 months and I keep getting appointment every 45 days. Technicians come and mention that they were not correctly briefed and can't fix. ---------------Reserved property at Hansford Park and the sales experience so far has been excellent. Full marks to Katie for great communication, prompt response to any enquiry. From start to now we were helped along the process - understood all our requirements and gave good suggestions.

As first time buyers we didn't really know the process or what to do, but Lesley at Claybourne has been brilliant guiding us through the process and answering all our questions! We have reserved "The Elmswell" in Steeple Claydon and can't wait to move in in the next couple of months.We would definitely recommend Crest Nicholson especially as first time buyers as it's been a seamless process throughout!

Worst decision ever made with Crest…

Worst decision ever made with Crest Nicolson The Fernhust. Eight months into our property with numerous overdue snagging, garden drainage and flooding issues not being able to use our property to the full extent to which we paid for in full with zero responses or accountability from the site team, customer service manager and all senior members including the CEO who all fail to acknowledge customer requests and arrange for issues to be resolved. They fail to reply with our garden being unfit for purpose, our upper floor creeks and squeeks with no resolve, they cant even change our kitchen sink leaky tap with a tradesman within a reasonable time frame and having to wait over 10 days only to be told upon installation the tap is wrong. We were offered free additional kitchen units to be installed, only to be told on the day after nine weeks of ordering, they cannot fit due to pipeing work behind the walls. This is such an unprofessional and cowboy of a company. I cannot comprehend how they are now charging over a £1m + for their new site in Windsor for a lower class builder. Evidence and written email trails are upmost importance as we will be raising the compliant further to NHBC and the new housing ombudsman. I also need to mention their workforce is like a conveyer belt. You never know who is incoming or outgoing. No information is passed, lack of communication is non-existent.

Customer Setvice?

Adding to this miserable state of affairs with Crest Nicholson’s so called customer service, I’m afraid this is symptomatic, usual behaviour from Crest. I have suffered with repeated non responsiveness over the last 8 years dealing with customer services, regardless copying in senior management. I typically have to follow up on communications at least two times before I do get any response, sometimes receiving a very curt reply - great customer service! It has become very hard to gather strength to have to deal with them as I know it’s like hitting the proverbial brick wall and to my detriment I give up before I even get started. Thank goodness we have, for the first time, a decent management company who is willing to intervene to face off to Crest on occasion.

Very disappointed that Crest has not…

Very disappointed that Crest has not taken responsibility for finishing the road off at the entrance to our development. We moved to the Iron Stone Place development in Bodicot three years ago and despite much communication they have evaded responsibility for finishing the road at the entrance to our development. They keep passing the buck back and forwards to others such as the council. This should have been discussed and agreed prior to building. Wouldn’t buy from crest again because if this which is a pity to have this review over something they should step up to. Says a lot about the company
