GoogleDuring a very long sales process (due to lower chain in-action), Dale and his team kept in contact and worked very hard at moving the sales process along. The personal service, often lost today, was most welcome. Slades have a great depth of knowledge of the Carpenders Park and South Oxhey housing market, which allows them to market your property at a realistic price, which in turns leads to a successful outcome. They have a very high completion rate. They are able and are very willing to give advice on how to market, present and promote your property. A local, long establish firm, working in the local area giving very good results.

Started off well with Slades Estate Agents, the agent was helpful and efficient at the beginning. Unfortunately, once problems appeared, the service fell short. Poor communication,At times rude and pushy, and some of the work carried out by their tradespeople was below standard. Landlords, especially those not local, would need to stay very involved.Always had positive experiences from the sales team so this was disappointing.Unfortunately can’t recommend.

GoogleHi all, I have bought and sold 2 houses through Slade in the last 40 yeara and had one serious attempt which failed due to my seller letting us all down due to a do it yourself attempt at probate. Throughout their dealings with me I found them to be very professional, what else can you say when everything is going well. However it was'nt until I used them to sell this last tlme did I realise their true worth. I won't bore the reader with the problems. My sale was going smoothly through Slade but the purchase was to say the least a bit tempremental and I wasn't getting anywhere with my vendors agents or solicitor. Slades spoke with the sellers agent gee'd up the solicitors and treated me like an adult by keeping me updated re my purchase. They were also able to give me a verbal cuddle when I needed it. All in all they provided me with great service and I am extremely grateful for their help. They are a local small agent with great staff who provided a great service. WELL DONE TEAM AND MANY THANKS

GoogleWe bought and sold our houses through Slades and did completion on both properties three weeks back. We are extremely happy with the service from Slades. Dale was helping and guiding us throughout the process and has been fantastic. All the staff in the office have been great, very polite and professional and conveying the messages in timely manner. Dale had really helped us out towards the end of the process liaising with all parties involved, including solicitors to ensure that we can get completion done on time. On the day of the move, although it was Dale’s day off, he still came to the house to check that we have moved in as planned and everything was ok. Thank you Dale and everyone in the Slades team to help us buy our dream home!

GoogleSlade are really ridiculous In the beginning they were helpful and was willing to get me a place just because I said I wanted. a place on LHA which they were okay with it and the landlady agreed for me to have her flat 90 by the wood and I told them that I will be leaving my temp accommodation soon what did they do they called the council without my permission and started enquiring about my personal information on what I’m eligible to etc I have spoken to my citizen advisor and she said to me this is a very unfair unprofessional performance of the slades the agents they should should be reported however they are third party a third party interfering without my consent asking for my personal information doesn’t give them the any any rights to have access to my personal information and it is the councils duty to also protect my personal information I am writing also writing a complaint letter to the council as well which I will not spare them. However Slade it is with regret you don’t deserve a good reveiw from me after what you did stressed me and my family out for so long asking so many information including for guarantor agreements etc you know I am expecting and I do not deserve stress during times like this we did everything to provide you with the documents banks statements etc all I needed was a tenancy agreement for that flat to submit to the UC after that the payment would have been done by the UC but you discriminated me and you told the landlady that we lied which I never lied I told the male agent that I have a temporary place which I will be leaving soon so I left it I am sorry this is very unprofessional performance for an agent to cheat and call council without my consent SLADE IS NOT Worth it!!

GoogleDale and company have evoked very polarised reviews. He sells the most properties on the estate and has the only agents office on the estate. I have found them to be professional, efficient and successful. He spent time discussing the valuation with me and was on par with the other agents I contacted. He listened and agreed with our circumstances to place the property on the market at slightly less than he felt could potentially be obtained but still at a good price. He found my buyer very quickly, negotiated and increased his offer, authenticated the buyers information and invested time taking him around the property multiple times after the offer was accepted. Before placing with Dale I challenged him on his reviews. He is forthright and unapologetic for the service he provides. He works for the seller/ lettor and as such his duty is to them. As such he will challenge information provided to ensure his clients interest. This can cause upset if someone is exaggerating. I would recommend Dale and Co to any seller who wants a good outcome and any buyer who can prove there position and is willing to pay market value.
