GoogleWe have put our property letting in the hands of Devon Rose for approx 20 years. The present Spayne family team are excellent. Tenants have been quickly found and suitable checks on references are always taken. Hand over clearance and inventory are always carefully undertaken.
Devon Rose have provided a service out of hours as a courtesy eg, when a tenant locks themselves out.
Julie is particularly good in resolving difficult situations in a calm and effective way, which removes any stress for us as landlords
This is a progressive business and their steady growth has in no way compromised the service they provide.
They continue to be able to offer an individual contact, the extremely efficient secretary / bookkeeper is always aware of our situation and can immediately offer advice or contact a local service to assist.
I would recommend Devon Rose without any hesitation

I have been very impressed with Julie and her wonderful team during this time. Nothing is too much trouble and repairs/electrical tests and inspections were always sorted promptly. I am just in the process of selling my flat and it Is fair to say they have gone above and beyond to help me through the sale sorting out cleaners, meter readings, liaising with my estate agent and regular checks on the property. My family and I have been renting with them for over 5 years now, and they have always been so reliable, very friendly and always there if we ever needed anything. I have been going through a hard time lately and they have always been there to help me and my family the best they can. I cannot fault them in any way shape or form. You can tell they are a a family run business as each employee understood my sitution when calling the office, instead of me having to repeat everything to each person, very pleasant in my opinion which also makes it alot better for communication and I truly believe they have helped me and my family more than any other agency in teignbridge would. GoogleOur experience with Devon Rose was very poor. We arranged to view a couple of rental properties in Dawlish, for which we travelled down from Bristol. We received no confirmation email or further information from them, and were left trying to locate the first property from the (inaccurate) pin on their Zoopla ad. We got lost and called to ask if they could meet us or offer us a lift, which they declined to do, instead offering us confusing verbal directions over the phone (they were unable to provide us with a postcode). We spent half an hour walking around lost and were eventually forced to cancel that viewing along with our second one (we almost missed a third viewing too). When we called to cancel the viewing the agent we spoke with was unhelpful and passive-aggressive. A needless waste of time and money.

GoogleUnfortunately I have had endless problems with this agent ,he resigned from being our agent ,but will not give the keys or the deposit to our new agent ,and to top it all has been less than pleasant to our tenant,I think trying to make them vacate the property,and now taken the rent from the tenant and deducted the management fee ! He resigned from being our agent ,I would not recommend Devon Rose to anyone.
