I approached Wards expressing that I needed to let my property out on a very quick turnaround, which they achieved exactly as promised. Unprofessional and unreliable agency

I rented with wards for 2 and a half years with a nil deposit scheme . From the first day of moving in we had problems with the property, no hot water, no heating, leaking boiler and bath in the middle of a snowy winter. We had to find our own plumber as the landlord liked to take his time getting in touch. From that day I have regretted my decision to not only move into that house but to also rent through wards. Their property management team are an embarrassment and extremely unprofessional, on numerous occasions I was spoken to on the phone in a very disrespectful manner. During my time in the house we experienced serious problems in the house which put myself and another member of the house hold in hospital. I have no finally moved out of the property and found a lovely landlord who has pride in his property.I have now been told by wards that I need to pay over £200 for cleaning the house ( which was done before I left) and they’re waiting for the contractor to give them a quote for more works that are needed in the home but not due to any fault of mine, I’m disgusted and shocked by this. So in my honest opinion I do not recommend Wards as an estate agency whatsoever. I do however recommend Ben Siggins and Connells who are very professional and reliable.

We recently changed over to wards from a different estate agents, and we have had the up most best experience with wards!. From the get go of the change over we have had the best communication with our property manager Nikki Cullen. She has gone above and beyond to help and deal with issues we had been hit with, she really does her job plus more to help get things done and sorted. Especially with the issues that came with the property we lived in (no fault of wards at all, was a property they took over). Fabulous service Judy Day 😊

All the staff at wards were very helpful and polite but I must mention the great service from Judy day who was our coordinator she was extremely supportive,helpful with lots of knowledge was patient and informative all the way through the experience of selling and buying a new home at times the process was very stressful and frustrating for all of us but through no fault of ours or Wards but Judy kept us up to speed with phone calls throughout and went above beyond just being a coordinator her professional and friendly approach to everything was extremely helpful even through a sad bereavement she made herself available and I believe if it had not been for her we probably would’ve pulled out of the sale and purchase a very big thank you to Judy Day 😊

Fantastic team in Hythe Kent

During a very long and stressful house hunting period, Wards stood out from all the other agents in Hythe and the surrounding areas.They were professional, knowledgeable and most of all, very kind and compassionate.
