Head officeAs you will see Reeds Rains have replied to my comment, explaining that sales are taking longer than usual ! ! ! However, the problem is. They advise you to go with a certain buyer, take over a month to check all details and only after asking for many weeks what is happening. They finally confirm everything is “a go” This is not just the branch that are incompetent, it also comes from head office ! ! ! Six days ago they were full of apologies and confirmed on this site I would receive confirmation of my payment. Not such notification. The company is a TOTAL JOKE, UNPROFESSIONAL FROM HEAD OFFICE DOWN TO THE BRANCHES. ARLA will be informed along with the other “PROFESSIONAL BODIES” they claim to be with. Honestly, please please please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Highly recommend.We used Reeds Rains in Crossgates and the service was 100% throughout.Sarah who valued the 2 properties we were selling was professional, passionate and very knowledgable. She told us one property would end in sealed bids and exceed the valuation, it did.The Ladies in the Crossgates office were very polite and helpful. They kept us informed every step of the way and chased Solicitor’s etc up when we asked.I would not use anyone else in Crossgates

The St Helens branch have been a complete life saver in helping me find a new rental property, I was updated at every stage. Terrible customer service. Paid a Fully managed service. No help from local branch. No replies to emails and no return phone calls. Quick to offer services for additional costs but don’t provide the service actually already paid for. Avoid at all costs.Incompetent.

Partner phoned up to enquire about properties, receptionist was rude as anything and told my partner (who has mental health problems) to simply "get a job" I don't know what ivory tower this little urchin crawled down from but that is certainly an unacceptable way to speak to potential clients. WILL NOT USE!!

It's been a month since we left home, but we still can't get our deposit. Used items are replaced with the tenant's money. You cannot find a contact.When you talk, they say they are here to protect the landlord.Be very careful...

I've been dealing with the Chesterfield branch. absolutely abysmal organisation, automated reply for everything telling us how important our message is and yet no one ever replies in person. Complete lack of coordination between departments, I would never have anything to do with them again.

We were in need of placing tenants in our property pretty quickly after a lengthy process after the renovation.Reed Rains followed up with all our questions and concerns promptly and efficiently. They were always on the other end of the phone / email.They have an extremely professional service with viewings; we were always notifyed whenever bookings were taking place.It can be overwhelming to understand the process but everything was explained at each stage and step, with consideration and in depth knowledge of the market.Reed Rains gave us an accurate valuation for the property and did their best to get as close to the original valuation as possible.Highly recommend.

I have used Reeds Rains to manage the letting of a property I have owned for a number of years and have always been delighted with the service which all the team provide, under Helen's leadership. When I decided to sell the property I used Reeds Rains for this too and, again, the service was totally professional and consistently excellent from Joe, Lauren and Donna. It's very clear that there is a very strong customer focus combined with a high degree of professionalism within Reeds Rains, or at least in Preston, which makes them a pleasure to deal with.

My mum is selling her house with reeds n rains .uk 3 wks on they still haven't but her house online my sister n mum keep phoning emailing to reeds rains just keep saying it be on today or they having problem with the it dept and there is no sign outside house.

We recently had a great experience purchasing our new home with the ladies at the Bamber Bridge branch. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly, and made every effort to ensure the purchase moved quickly and smoothly. Alison and Donna in particular were fabulous, and the lady who showed us around the property (who's name unfortunately escapes me) was also lovely to deal with. The ladies here are obviously very caring and passionate about their roles, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. I might also add that Donna in particular deserves a 'shout out' as although she does not appear to be as visible and front of house as the other ladies, she was the one who put in the majority of the groundwork, and ensured that any concerns were quckly dealt with/resolved, and all the legal arrangements and requirements were completed at the speed of light. Fantastic people to deal with, and as mentioned previously, I could not recommend highly enough. A big thank you to everyone involved.

Shambolic excuse for an agent. Don’t understand why anyone uses them. Fail to return deposits within legislated time period always excuses staff on holiday or sick. Just speak B/S when called all about keeping money in the bank.

In the last six months, I have rented and sold a property through Reeds Rains in Macclesfield and I feel that they are the best agent in the area bar none!They are proactive, highly proficient, friendly and will go the extra mile to provide the best service. Special mention must go to James, Zoe, Jaya and Sue who form the excellent sales team who have gone the extra mile to get the best price possible for my property - giving regular feedback and negotiating offers effectively. I would highly recommend the team to anybody looking to sell or rent property.
