We’re proud to have been serving the Danbury area for 14 years, with the last 3 years from our local Danbury Office, offering a wide range of properties for sale and to rent, not only in Danbury but also in surrounding villages including Bicknacre, The Walters, South Woodham Ferrers, Maldon, North Fambridge and the Dengie peninsula. Martin Orchard, who will be responsible for running the Danbury Office, has 15 years of experience as a company director running a successful residential sales and lettings business across two offices in Chelmsford and Danbury. Martin lives nearby in South Woodham Ferrers where he has resided for the past 39 years, so knows the area and surrounding villages extremely well, as well as having built up a network of useful contacts. Martin holds both the NAEA license for Sales as well as the ARLA license for lettings, so can offer expert advice. Alongside Martin is his Spouse Alison, also a previous company director with similar experience. Alison’s role will be mainly focused with local marketing as well as progressing sales through to legal exchange of contracts liaising with solicitors, other agents and buyers and sellers. This is a crucial role to ensure a successful sale as well as providing a high level of personal customer service. As a local agent we understand the importance of supporting the village and will continue to support the local schools and advertise their events and fairs, as well as the sports and social centre, including the farmers markets and Christmas Fayre, and the associated bowls club. Other associations we are proud to support are the Danbury Art Society and the Church Flower Festival. Our main areas of business are residential sales, lettings and property management, as well as Land and Development Properties, which Martin has been successful with over the past few years. The office is located on the main road in Danbury, in a small commercial development which includes a Coffee House, Hairdressers, Chiropodist and Counselling, with free parking, opposite the village war memorial. At Martin & Co Danbury we pride ourselves on our high level of customer service. Being a family run business we can offer a professional and personal service with local expertise, with the back up of a powerful national brand, which other local agents are not able to offer. We support the Village local schools and Sponsor school events as well as sponsor the local sports and social centre, bowls club and art society. Fully understood clients requirements, sold to a known client whilst taking pictures, kept in contact with all solicitors and agents in chain, and achieved offer to completion in 5 weeks. Approachable, always contactable, would thoroughly recommend.

FacebookChris was absolutely fantastic. It took us awhile to sell our house but he kept us motivated and always rang with a positive word. In the end he negotiated us the best price and we then moved to Alison in the post-sales team. Alison was also brilliant and chased every part of the chain for us regularly, always keeping us updated as she went. Overall we couldn't have asked for better agents and would thoroughly recommend them.

GoogleMy perception of Estate Agents has changed. The Danbury team (Martin and Tynia) went above and beyond for us to purchase our next and final project property. A transaction that was fraught with challenges and complications throughout, particularly when dealing with third parties. Yet the team remained on point with email exchanges and telephone calls returned in a timely manner. Martin engaged with the other estate agents to ensure everything stayed on track. Without their persistence and help we doubt it would have been achievable, and for that we wish to extend our gratitude and say thank you. We got there in the end. To this date we continue to pinch ourselves - a truly remarkable property, albeit a lot of work required! Would we recommend this Estate Agent - most definitely, whether you are buying or selling. He helped keep it all rolling forward, gave us help and advice even though he wasn’t employed on our behalf. All I can say is if and when we sell on and Martin is still in the business of selling houses then we will be giving him a call 😊👍🏻.

GoogleMartin completely changed my perception of Estate Agents. He conducted himself with honesty and integrity throughout, more often than not in extremely trying circumstances. every single phone call or message was returned, every concern listened to. The marketing was excellent, we achieved bang on the asking price, and even better he was keeping us informed of other events in the chain right up until today. I hope he finds me my new property, because it was a pleasure dealing with him and his team.

Judging by my experience with the agents I have dealt with throughput my purchase process the service Martin provided was leaps and bounds ahead. Through no fault of Martin’s it wasn’t all smooth sailing but he kept us in the loop at every stage. I’d have absolutely no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone.

FacebookDo not use - high fees and no due diligence, landlord refusing to give deposit back and hasn’t protected it. when we first moved in we asked for our deposit details and were told they’d been sent to us so just assumed we had them somewhere. Just moved out and after several calls was informed that they didn’t protect the deposit but the landlord had. Turned out they haven’t and they are now refusing to give any of it back. Disappointed to use a high street agent and pay very high fees to cover admin (which should include DPS). To end up having to go to court.
