GoogleReally poor customer service. I put in to view a flat for rent, filled out everything they sent me, and heard nothing for over a week. I checked their website and noticed the listing had been taken down, so I phoned to ask what the script was. The woman who answered couldn’t have been less interested. I’m not even convinced she knew what listing I was talking about, all she said was: “you’ll get an email”.
We’re now a month on and there’s still no sign of said email! It’s disappointing that a company with such a stronghold over the local market can’t show a bit of basic respect and communicate with its customers.

Google★☆☆☆☆ Untrustworthy and Overpriced, Avoid
I rented a property through this agent, and every year he tried to increase the rent without justification. When I compared with other agents, I found similar or even better properties being rented for 30, 40% less. He consistently overprices his listings well above market rates.
On top of that, he's unresponsive, never acts in a timely manner, and always sides with the landlord. As a tenant, you’re left with zero support. Completely unprofessional, I would not recommend him to anyone.

GooglePretty good when you're looking for somewhere to rent but completely useless after you've given them your money.
Numerous issues with the property, some of which have gone unresolved for over six months. I have had to chase them repeatedly (which is difficult for me due to disability) often with no response whatsoever.
Doors which don't fit/close, leaks, plumbing which airlocks all the time, broken radiator thermostat, ancient failing shower alternating between hot and cold, an ancient boiler which took 5-6 attempts to repair (and which the engineer noted should've just been replaced years ago).
Very much fulfilling the stereotype of bad letting agents.

FacebookAfter more than 5 years with Martin & Co I can only state that the girls are without doubt brilliant and amongst the most helpful we have ever come across. The whole experience of moving was made easy and they listened to our needs and went the extra mile to ensure we were happy.
It seems to me that these comments say more about the tenants than the business.
You will go a long way before you find a better letting agent and we will continue our tenancy for as long as possible. Some people should think before writing.

I was new to renting after my divorce and whenever I needed any help they were at the end if the phone or email.
