We've been on both sides of purchasing via Thorne and Carter and choosing to utilise Henry for the Selling our property due how he was during the viewings on properties he was showing us during the purchasing side of the process years prior. We had 4 estate agents attend for valuation of our property recently, and he was heads and shoulders above the competition, researching surrounding areas, having the in-depth knowledge of the market and our house specifically, plus realistic fact based estimations for our house value relative to the market situation. I’ve used Thorne, Carter and Aspen for both letting a property out and also selling. Angus was very efficient and helpful in dealing with the letting side of things. When we sold the property we used Henry who was so helpful. He made the process so much easier by keeping us updated at all times, always getting back to my emails promptly and liaising between solicitor and the buyers as and when. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough and would always go back to Thorne and Carter when needed again. :)

We were tenants managed by Thorne Carter and Aspen for ten years, and throughout that entire time the team were an absolute pleasure to deal with. A special mention must go to Angus, our main point of contact, who was consistently courteous, cheerful and helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble. We had someone called John to view our property. Seemed alright at first, but then after a while seemed like he didn't want to be here. He is the 1st person seen our garden and said it was OK. NEVER even went into one off the bedrooms when I asked if he was going in. More interested about telling us about his BIG house and garden in Kentisbere. THE CLINCHER he advised us to put our house on the market £15,000 cheaper than one of the companies that buy your house with cash. Kept saying no parking, no parking, but we successfully park our cars outside the house on the main road. Not a good estate agent. This post is put on by Mark Hayden, not Claire Hayden.

I bought from family run Thorne and Carter then trusted them to sell the property on smoothly given their professionalism and reputation for being a pleasure to work with. Both Henry and John were so supportive through the sale process in an incredibly challenging market time - in and out of Lockdown(s). They offered experienced advice and were deeply knowledgeable about the local market. The property marketing was of a high quality, the photography and thorough and appealing house description. T&C utilised social media, popular selling platforms etc to ensure our house was as visible as possible. Communication is excellent, even during a busy time the whole wonderful team is attentive to clients, very responsive, honest and find time to greet you, in the street, take the time to talk to you on the phone, answer questions etc so you feel informed. A long established estate and lettings agency which has successfully managed our Cullompton property for the last 15 years, and recently let out a second larger property in Exeter. Angus's knowledge of the market and rental values to be expected is absolutely first rate. He and his colleagues are both professional and approachable, with very much a do it right first time ethos in finding long term, trouble-free tenants. Angus also has a number of highly competent and reliable tradesmen he can call on should the need arise, including to prepare new properties for let as with our recent house in Exeter. All communications and contracts are dealt with on a pretty well immediate turnaround, and fees are fair and reasonable without any surprises lurking (often not the case elsewhere). Our experience is that Angus and his colleagues can be left to manage a property with complete confidence. The service is excellent in all respects. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

I couldn’t recommend Thorne and Carter more! I had a very challenging sale due to errors Made on my deeds when I originally purchased my property. Thorne and carter sold my property just 6 days after it was put On the market. When the sale hit the first bump in the road, my first buyer pulled out and Thorne and Carter secured me another buyer within another week! All in all, the house was put on the market in Feb and did not complete until the end of November! During this time Henry and John we’re extremely supportive and beyond helpful! If we ever move back to cullompton Thorne and Carter will be my first call!
