Our experience with Winkworth Crediton Estate & Letting Agents was brilliant from start to finish. Our property had been on the market with another agent for over 12 months with no success. Catherine from Winkworth came to view our property, offered helpful tips and advice, and then listed our house with them. Within just two months, they had successfully sold it. Frank then took over the process of handling the sale and was a real superstar. He couldn’t have been more helpful or understanding, keeping everything running smoothly. He was excellent at managing everything, from liaising with solicitors to keeping us informed, right through to the day we picked up the keys. Thank you very much for everything. I first started renting through WInkworth seven and a half years ago, when I first moved to Devon from the West Midlands and recently bought the property I was renting through them. My experience with the Crediton branch has been pretty great. Viewing was arranged around me getting down to Devon whilst still living in Birmingham and they made the process so simple and smooth. Anything that has needed to be looked at in that time was sorted out quickly and the tradespeople that they have contracts with are very friendly and trustworthy. Winkworth were great when the second tenant left the property, making sure that paperwork was up to date etc, which was a stress off my mind. They have been professional and friendly throughout and when we were informed of the landlord wishing to sell the property, they were very helpful in helping us to arrange purchasing straight from the landlord so that we are able to keep our home. Communications are great both from the rental and the purchasing side. When there were times that inspections or gas safe checks due, Winkworth were always happy to work around me and the times I would be home, which was always appreciated. Thank you so much to the Winkworth team for making both my move to Devon and the transition to buying my home smooth and straightforward.

Couldn't recommend them more as a buyer. From start to finish they made the process smoother and more efficient. We were very apprehensive having had two bad experiences with estate agents before who weren't transparent and were quite underhand. However Winkworth's, and Tess especially who dealt with our purchase, have restored our faith in the profession. We were relocating and therefore had short time frames down here looking at houses. From the get go they were super accomodating and helped squeeze in a last minute on the day viewing when we noticed the property, as we were due to be travelling back home the day after. They were clear and transparent from that point, keeping us up to date after we put our offer in. Even during our viewing they pointed out things they'd ask the seller for clarification on, rather than just trying to sell the house to us. You could tell they cared about doing it right. We were lucky enough that our offer was accepted and Tess was amazing helping support the purchase. She kept a clear communication line for us and the seller, and also chased up solicitors when needed. She answered everything quickly and nothing ever felt like a bother. She even took some photos of the house for us so we didn't have to travel to do it! Despite us being the "buyer", it truly felt like Tess (and her colleagues) wanted to support both parties with the purchase and were happy to help. It felt very personal and not at all corporate which is super rare. We couldn't be happier with their service and will definitely use them in the (very far)future should we move from our lovely new property.
