Although we were the buyers, not the vendors, I can't fault the experience of purchasing through The House Partnership. Tom (Witchell) kept us informed and up to date throughout what turned out to be an unexpectedly protracted and difficult purchase. Tom was adept at dealing with the solicitors, keeping all of the chain aligned and moving forwards. He built a good relationship with our agent and was the only agent in the chain who really understood the complexity of the situation. Tom Witchell was excellent from start to finish in the difficult business of getting my elderly mother moved from her house of 55 years. Tom immediately grasped the notion that we had one opportunity, there was only one prosepective purchasing possiblity and time was of the essence. A five start experience with Roger Wade and the House Partnership. We had not been successful with the more traditional high street estate agent service so a friend recommended we talk to Roger for advice. He was unbiased and realistic which stood us in great stead moving forwards. There is a huge advantage in having your dedicated agent be the one to show all prospective buyers around the property. Roger was able to point out the features of the house from a point of knowledge and understanding and we achieved a fast sale to exactly the right people at exactly the right price. After a year and a half of either silence or failed offers, we switched to House Partnership and completed a sale within six months in an extremely difficult market. I would highly recommend this service.

Yes, they cover all the bases that the corporates do but thankfully, they offer those all-important added dimensions - exemplars in marketing your property (they are especially savvy in the ever-increasing world of social media) and most significant for us, the good old-fashioned values of 'working above and beyond the call of duty' and 'going the extra mile.' Matthew Gilbert is very knowledgable about the market, was the only agent who gave us realistic pricing advice, and is reliable and trustworthy (as well as being a thoroughly nice guy). Prior to instructing Matthew, we had a terrible experience with another local agent from one of the “brand name” estate agencies. They lied to us, gave poor advice on pricing and marketing strategy, and hampered our prospects of making a sale. Matthew changed all that and was a delight to work with throughout. I highly recommend House to anyone, I came across a beautiful property listed for rent by House on Zoopla and got a call from Sophie to arrange a viewing the very next day, she was so lovely and helpful with answering all the questions I had at the viewing and gave me great advice which ultimately helped me win over the landlords due to the high interest in the property and everything after that went smoothly all the way up to my move in day thanks to Sophie giving me regular updates. The property was handed over to me absolutely spotless I didn’t have anything to do besides moving my stuff in! I recently had an issue with my hob as it had cracked, I was so nervous to let the agents know as I felt absolutely awful about it but both Mati and Sophie were so lovely and understanding about the whole situation, they dealt with it very quickly and I had a new induction hob put in by my landlord that same weekend.
