McCarthy & Booker Cowes reviews

From the initial contact to the day we completed on our house sale, the whole team at McCarthy and Booker were highly professional yet totally friendly and approachable. No detail went unnoticed in terms of the property details, and all prospective buyers were informed of details that other agents would look over. Having been disappointed with the profession previously we are so pleased to have found the perfect company to sell our beautiful home. Looking forward to the next step of finding our forever home and we have no doubt it will be on the books of Georgie and her fantastic team. Thank you. 😊

Just to say a big thank you to Georgie, Paul and Lynda at Waterside for making the sale of our house so painless. You were friendly, helpful, quick to return my calls, and fantastically accommodating throughout the whole process - despite the covid restrictions. I can't recommend you highly enough!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

We couldn’t have been happier. From the first meeting through to completion every step has a joy. I have just completed on the sale of a 2 bed flat in Cowes to a first time buyer. An extremely frustrating process in this case, and often more complex than freehold. However throughout the whole process I have to congratulate the entire team at McCarthy & Booker, whose support and assistance was , in my opinion, above and beyond the call over the whole process. I cannot recommend them more highly. Very many thanks.. Graham

Georgie and the team helped us sell our house in 2019. Waterside we’re incredibly approachable, supportive and professional from the first meeting to completion through a very tricky chain. Georgie was always on hand to answer texts and calls so we never felt alone in the process. Would definitely recommend them!

Georgie and Paul at Waterside worked like trojans to find the right buyer for our house in Cowes. It wasn't the easiest sale they've ever had to deal with, but their sheer determination and commitment ensured that everybody ended up exactly where we wanted to be! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Georgie and Paul; they are the best agents on the island without a doubt. I have worked with many estate agents in the past, yet never have I met a team who demonstrate this level of transparency and devotion to the cause. It is so refreshing to find a team you can trust and rely on, and value for money into the bargain! Look no further - talk to Georgie and Paul - they feel more like friends than estate agents.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Georgie and Paul at Waterside were entrusted to sell a beloved family home on behalf of myself and my siblings. None of us live on the island and Georgie and Paul took care of absolutely everything - above and beyond all that we expected. They made sure the house was safe, sometimes staying hours late to do so, helping not only our finances but our peace of mind which was invaluable to us at an emotional time. They took really good care of us and the house and we can unhesitatingly recommend them. By completion they felt like friends!

Mike Holmes : No praise is high enough for the level of service we received from Georgie and Paul during the sales of our properties. These were expensive houses by Island standards but Georgia's indomitable spirit, enthusiasm and professionalism at all times day or night to both ourselves and our purchasers ensured not only the sales of our houses but also that they were sold in a good timescale and for sensible prices. Top class service from an amazing team

Five star service all the way! Thanks Georgie for all your efforts in selling our property. Paul helped too of course! Communication and information sharing kept us in the loop. Chain chased almost daily I think, communication was fab. Highly recommended - you won't be sorry if you choose Waterside. After our first chain collapsed, Georgie found us another buyer within 2 days! They go above and beyond what you would normally expect from an estate agent. D.x.
