What a waste of time.

What a waste of time.I had an agreement with them to pay a tenancy upfront , then they said it would be better to pay monthly as long as I had a guarantor. So after going through the whole referencing process and obtaining a garantor .They went back on their word and asked for the full tenancy which after the agreement of monthly payments .I was not happy about this as I like to be a man of my word and after eventually agreeing as I had no other choice , was still refused .Wether down to the agents or landlord , my experience was unprofessional and untrustworthy .

From the start of the selling process Ian Robson was excellent. He put us at ease with his professionalism taking beautiful photographs and videos. He was one of four valuations and my family and I quickly realised we could trust his knowledge and understanding. Within days viewings were being booked in, followed by numerous offers. Ian, Lyndsay Greenwell, Sharon Cummings and Jodi Gooch were in close contact throughout, offering advice and help. Their support was excellent throughout and we had total confidence in everything they did for us. Poor Service

Have tried to view a property through Patinsins for the past 5 weeks.The office staff never return calls or are capable of setting up a viewing.I have now read the reviews and they are so bad I will not be pursuing any property with this company. Far too unreliable and unprofessional.

I visited the Pattinsons estate agents in whickham as I was looking for a new rental for me and my family. The service I received was absolutely astounding, Lyndsay Greenwell ( The manager) and her team were amazing. Lyndsay went above and beyond working around the clock. More than happy to recommend Pattinsons. The staff were efficient and friendly throughout and were always willing to go the extra mile. I liked that if I couldn’t get through to the stockton office the call was diverted to their call centre who would send a message. My sale got quite difficult towards the end, but Jan was exceptional in the way she managed the situation and I’m sure her determination ensured a positive result for all parties. I feel sure she must have spent half her time on my sale alone! Special mention to Danielle aswell, helpful, friendly and efficient. Well done and thank you.

Disappointing service letting flat

Disappointing service to rent out my flat. First proposed tenant had not had previous landlord references verified and was still being pushed through. Another nearly three weeks passed and another tenant found, but caused significant financial loss through their inadequate process and only offered £100 off the fee. Very disappointing and dubious referencing would make me avoid them in future.

I was undecided how to market my property for the best results and so for the first time ever I decided to put my property up for sale through the Pattinson Auction Site. I could not believe the speed and efficiency in which a sale was achieved, unlike the slow and irksome process of selling through the normal method. Jamie Hall and team from the Consett Branch guided us through the simple process from start to finish and even provided me with a link to the live auction so I could watch the auction in real time, that was really useful. First time buying a house through auction and so far has turned out to be a simple process. The Pattinson team at Consett were very helpful, keeping me informed of available properties and arranging prompt viewings, also putting my mind at rest that the auction itself would not be a scary affair. Helen in the Consett branch has been very helpful promptly answering any queries I have as the process runs its course, I also received a congratulations phone call following the success at the auction which I thought was a very nice touch. Would definitely recommend Pattinson's and will certainly use them in the future.

Avoid at all costs

Very disappointed with the experience I recently received with this auction house. The agent messed up on a completion date which added unnecessary stress and anxiety on a fast turnaround closure. This particular issue took over a week to sort out. I also asked for critical information regarding the property I was buying pre sale. This was never received. I have since pulled out of the bid and it;’s cost me a lot of money for Patterson Auctions for the lack of communication and mistake. What’s more insulting is they’re not taking any responsibility for the experience I have had with them . My advise is to buy with a regular estate agent and avoid auction houses like Pattersons. I also wished I had read all the other terrible comments on Trusted Pilot first !

If there was ZERO I would give them that. It doesn't matter to them how many times you call, they take details and won't call you back. Holly and Jason both failed to call back to book a simple viewing?? Then another member of staff advised the local agency would be in touch on the same day and I received NO CALL. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME trying to get anywhere with this agency. Go elsewhere as they are way too busy to acknowledge you! Utter shambles. Missed out on 2 properties because of their shabby organisation. Never again.

Joe Sarin is a STAR!!

I recently rented a property through Pattinson’s. The guy I dealt with at the Regional Branch (Joe Sarin) was incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond to help us find a suitable property. Our situation was tricky and securing a tenancy was by no means easy. Joe was amazing! He kept in touch pretty much daily and did lots of negotiating on our behalf with our landlord. He is a very polite and friendly young man and he has even emailed a couple of times after our move to ask if everything was ok and we had settled into our new home. A+ service!
