GoogleMark, John and Denise were amazing whilst selling my mother's house from afar. We had problems with the buyers solicitor which made the process painful and slow. Denise guided the sale through and without her, I doubt that we would have been in a position to get the sale passed the post. Thank you so much !

GoogleWe have just purchased our family home via John Brown and Mark Youll and as buyers, have had the best possible experience. Our progresser Denise has been helpful and efficient and supportive. All of the staff at the estate agents have been accommodating. I would highly recommend using them!

GoogleWe sold our Maisonette with John Brown and Mark Youll Estat Agents as I saw their advertisement on other homes in our area. We gave them a shot and looking back we are so happy we used them. From start to finish they were always on the end of the calls for advice, updated us and were always on top of everything. Jess was our agent who was very professional, polite and clearly very good at her job as the sale went through very efficiently. We could not possibly rate them lower than 5 out of 5 and I have recommended them on to my sister who is also looking to sell in the near future. All the best to you all.

We inquired several times about a property we liked in Caterham and actually visited it 4 times, (as my wife wanted it but I wasn't sure and we were also looking at another property ). Elliott couldn't have been more helpful and never had a problem showing us the house so many times. We finally put an offer on the house ( the wife won eventually ) and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. Debbie, was then our point of contact and always kept us updated weekly on what was happening and was always very helpful if i asked questions. The whole team were great and we never had any issues. The whole process was smooth and didn't take long at all. I would highly recommend using them.

GoogleShould be banned from running the letting business Only engage this agency if you want to/like: - be systematically ignored - calls and emails were unanswered or answered weeks later, after numerous reminders. - your interests being systematically neglected, for example, your property alteration is agreed between the agency and tenants without you being informed, not mention your written permission was never asked; another example - you are left with damaged property upon the end of tenancy with no compensation; - you are routinely lied, for example, you are provided with fake gas certificate because the agency failed to arrange the boiler check at the time and later produced a fake document dated 3 months back from the date when the actual check was finally performed - to be continued... If any or all of the above are services you are after and you are happy to pay for them then look no further, the agency 'John Brown and Mark Youll' and their partners 'Let's Help' will be the best choice! What is really disturbing - their confidence that they can get away with their, so-called 'services' while they incapable and are not willing to do the job they are charging their clients for. Raised the complaint with 'The Property Ombudsman' about them.

GoogleI would give this company 10 stars if I could. With them, particularly James, you have estate agents who genuinely care about their customers as people and not just clients. Moving is stressful but with their help, it was minimised. James was always very helpful and answered our queries during our tenancy through this company. Thank you!

We were told we were being put forward for a rental and heard no more, When we rang for an update we were told they were busy !!. We then rang 3 more times as still hadn't heard anything and the phone went to answer phone each time via 3 different rings so clearly there are not enough staff. I finally gave up hoping they would answer and I left a message to which I have never received a reply . I find they are not interested in keeping anyone informed and feel they have no integrity or care about their clients .In my experience they may as well have not existed, in fact I'm left wondering do they??!!!!

GoogleVery slow to do anything and pretty incompetent it seems. When we moved out of a property it took them over 4 weeks to send the move out inspection report to the landlord despite it having been done in the week we moved out. Then after the landlord and I had agreed on the deduction from the deposit, it took them nearly three further weeks to get around to submitting the DPS form to start the return of the deposit, despite both myself and the landlord contacting them on numerous occasions over this period. They've caused a lot of frustration to both myself and the landlord.

GoogleTotally useless, from start to finish. First viewing the lady arrived late and did not apologise, arrived in completely in appropriate clothing to complete a professional viewing, arrived without any of the promotional material and advised the first client that they did not know anything about our property. Minimal contact throughout and moaned when we called for updates, never really seemed that fussed about speeding the process up, caused an already stressful situation to become unbearable at times. When we manged to get contact from them we were consistently lied to and it felt as if they just wanted to get rid of us and didn't understand we were in constant contact with our solicitor who regularly disproved their inaccurate and dishonest updates. To top it off once the sale was complete they actually handed our buyer the wrong set of keys, and told us to shut the door and leave. We knew they didn't have our keys and must have handed them the keys to another house so called back and advised them of the error, I really couldn't believe the incompetence at this point, our buyers would have ended up having to call out a lock smith if we had listened to them, at least they could have accessed some other poor souls property though! Be warned and stay away if you value your sanity!
