GoogleJust sold my house with Howe. Tim was great, always willing to help. Unfortunately, some other members of his team were not as helpful. While showing potential buyers around they didn't introduce themselves to me and even thought I was a buyer of my own home.
However once my house was sold, Tracey became the point of call and she was fantastic. If there was ever a problem, Tracey would solve it. No issue was too big, and she made me feel like I was doing the right thing.
Overall Tracey and Tim went above and beyond to get my house sale through quickly and easy. I just wish that I didn't have to deal with any of the other employees of Howe.

They acted quickly to get us up for sale and had a number of viewings booked soon after and sold the house in just a matter of days. The purchase of our onward house wasn’t straight forward and the team at Howe were always responsive on the phone and did everything they could to help, chasing solicitors and keeping everyone in the loop. FacebookI went and viewed a rental property needed very quickly I. Gretton for my self my husband and 3 small children. The house was only a 2 bed but they were both large and there was enough for my kids in one room. I viewed the property spoke to a very nice gentleman who said if I paid the fees it would be mine. Excited I ran grab the £400 needed and went straight to the estate agents with my 2 year old on tow. Handed the money to a lady and signed what I needed to. As the man I spoke to wasn't there I called him since he gave me his card and said I've paid it is the house mine? Since the rental I was in already on the village was being sold it was crucial we got the house as my kids go to school in the village and I work there. He said yes it's yours. Beaming I went to my husbands work with the good news. As I left I had a phone call saying sorry someone else paid before you you need to come back and get the money. I was so upset and thought that when I was in there someone must have known, either that or my family seemed Undesirable in the end. That was in January. Fast forward to today checking for rentals again in the village the same property is back on right move for rental. So as far as I'm concerned they either had whoever wanted it fall through in which case to me it was deserved or they lied. Either way never would use them again. No regard for tenants

GoogleFrom the initial meeting and setup with Tim, and then the obligatory viewings with the team, we eventually landed up with a confirmed SALE!
As the sale progressed, Tracy absolutely stood out hands down and took alot of the stresses away from us, by doing all the chasing of solicitors and estate agents, even when the going got tough, Tracy got going!
So to summarise, we would 130% recommend Howe for all your house move needs if you are based in Corby and the surrounding areas.

GoogleThe attitude towards elderly, disabled people is terrible, they need to alter their approach. I had rented a bungalow from them for a couple of years .. they happily took my deposit and rent. But when I decided to move and asked for my deposit it was a different matter. Some 7 or 8 days after moving they decided to tell me that a third party held my deposit and I had to apply to them for my money. One of the staff was helpful... Fiona, but i believeTim Howe stopped that (can't have someone in difficulty being helped??) and all i had was a phone number for this third party. Now I have very poor eyesight and am not very computer literate. This third party sent a link... which to me was a foreign language, I had great difficulty focusing on the small screen to navigate this, then I had to fight my poor eyesight to try to sort passwords out.. which again was foreign language. Needless to say I failed and had to contact them again ... all they did was send further Links and emails ... which with my eyesight was a nightmare. At that point I gave up and was thinking of getting authorities involved to recoup my deposit from Howe. ... maybe small claims court. Fortunately, out of the blue I got help, my money is on the way.... but no help from Howe. HOWE, CHANGE THE WAY YOU DEAL WITH DISABLED PEOPLE.NegativeProfessionalism

GoogleI saw a house on the right move website fresh posted by howe and I called the agency and I asked to see the house. I said that I will rent only for me and my little daughter and they said that will call me back. In the next second I was angry and I was going straight to the town center at the howe agency and I ask to see the house and the agent said that at the moment the house is not empty and we wait for the people to go out from the house and they said that will call me when the house is empty. The next day in the morning I searched for the house again and I found it but was “LET AGREED”. HORIBLE AGENCY, AVOID. They have a problem with single moms. I presented my situation to them and I said that I have a full time contract, bank statements, payslips and full money to cover the rent+deposit+agency fees and I never took benefits from the goverment because I’m considering that I earn enough. AVOID.

As you probably guessed, they failed to even contact me back, let alone deal with the issue. Simply a case of now I have completed, I have served my purpose and they could no longer care what or if I had any issues. Items missing from when I viewed the property to when I bought the property have gone missing and Howes can't answer for it, although they are the only key holders!
