GoogleJo Cable is the best! Thanks to her and Eastgates Letting, I had a lovely experience of living in a perfect flat in Colchester last year. If you compare rents that offered by Eastgates Letting and other agencies in the same area, you can easily find that Eastgates Letting offers are cheaper. YellAVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
An absolute joke of a company who I would warn all potential tenants to avoid renting with them. Their communication is one of the poorest examples I've ever experienced from any letting agency...once they have your money they will expect you to be understanding with every fault they make without correcting it in a timely manner.They do not care about students at all and have some of the rudest, incapable staff I've ever had the pleasure of being in contact with. Some employees don't know what is going on with half of their buildings the majority of the time and struggle to even understand the simplest of queries. There is a reason the company hasn't got an actual website.

GoogleExtremely rude staff who consistently undermine tenants and make you feel like renters have no right to voice concerns. Landlords should steer clear of this estate agent, as they are dishonest and create unnecessary issues for tenants. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone, even my worst enemy. I had to take legal action to resolve the situation. Avoid them at all costs!

GoogleJust vacated our home after 3 years. I cannot praise these guys enough. Unlike other agencies, the moment you call with an issue it’s sorted. Nothing is ever too much. If I ever rented again I would only consider these guys as it’s a family run, friendly, personable service. I’d also like to add UNLIKE every single other letting agent I have ever met they do not try and take your deposit with excuses of things that ‘are damaged or broken’. Genuine people. Thank you all so much. Special thanks to Jo and Chanel who were always amazing.

GoogleStrange to see a good feedback for this agency. Probably asked their mates to fill something in to impersonate good ratings. Horrible experience as a landlord. Under their watch tenants managed to turn loft onto cannabis plantation! Steer away from this bunch if you value your property.

Due to Covid I didn't want to view with other people still living there... So he sent me a video tour. After I received that I was called back by a very friendly lady who couldn't help me enogh. I have read the reviews that others have said and can honestly say that's not my experience with Eastgates. YellINHUMANE TREATMENT
THE WORST company in existence. Would give 0 starts if possible. For the past 5 MONTHS my partner and I had a leak from the ceiling and the company couldn't care less, they've done absolutely NOTHING to fix it. We are charged FULL RENT while living like RATS, in unhealthy and INHUMANE conditions, having dirty water drip on our dinner table every single day for the past 5 months. RUN THE OTHER WAY I WOULD SAY.

Eastgates is not the company it portrays itself to be, please do not rent with them, or at least contact the tenants living in the house and ask them for an honest chat about the house, the services and the landlord. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Most letting agents try to screw over students, please get informed on your rights!

GoogleHorrible estate agents. I have been battling with them for repairs for four years. They lie, make up things and break the very laws that are there to protect my rights as a tenant. Needless to say I am complaining everywhere I can. Dodgy, dodgy people! Shady business practices.
