GoogleHorrible experience with this firm today with what started as a simple request to arrange a viewing for a property. Female director of the business (which she was keen to highlight in a firm tone) was extremely patronizing. She began with a horrible approach to the call and was very awkward to talk to; we simply couldn't agree on a viewing time due to her contradictory information "12.30 onwards is available, ok so we can do 4pm" (so confused) ... God forbid I questioned that information, I felt like I was shot down for it! Not a pleasant experience at all.
If you're a seller, avoid at all costs if this is how they talk to your potential buyers!

FacebookAs a tenant I was totally let down by Caledonia property, we paid the rent every month, on time and had 3 monthly inspections, whether we were home or not, we never had any negative feedback, asked permission to do home improvement, was told this had been passed on to the landlord and was permitted, landlord never did any repairs during our tenancy despite us constantly reporting the issues every 3 months over 6 years, then when we left the property, due to the poor condition we were refused our deposit, as he said we had not had written permission for doing improvements and we had left it dirty, which was not true, I have spoken to several people who had the same problem, would definitely not recommend this company

I know the people involved here and they did lots of work to the garden, it was much improved including a new hut. I personally would not have allowed Caledonian Bureau into my home whilst I was not there. Don't think this should be allowed. Fell the clients were let down here, but reading comments, it seems all landlords are happy. No Wonder if they are allowed access to tenants homes at any time of day even while tenants are not home. Not on in my books

FacebookBought our current house through Caledonia Bureau and had very few issues at all, however, I am now looking to rent a property on my own and I’ve had a very different experience.
I got offered a viewing appointment last week, arranged time away from work, re-arranged childcare and several other people’s lives.
Went to the viewing and expressed an interest, and was told someone from Clydebank office would be in touch to complete an application.
After a few days of not hearing anything I contacted the office, who said they would definitely contact me soon.
Yesterday I got a phone call from Dumbarton to say that the landlord had considered all of the applications and I had been unsuccessful.
It’s quite impressive that an application I hadn’t made was unsuccessful to be honest.
As a prospective tenant or as a landlord, it’s quite concerning that not all options are being explored.
If I’m turned down before earnings and affordability are checked, I must be doing something wrong.
