GoogleEveryone at Honeywell Estate Agents made the whole process of selling very easy and stress free. We managed to complete the sale within 2 months of the property going on the market thanks to their efficiency and guidance and that of the solicitors. I would definitely recommend Honeywell without hesitation.

GoogleWe were exceptionally pleased with the whole process from the initial discussion which had no pressure put upon us to choose Honeywells , to the photographing and marketing , which showed our house to its best and finally the organisation of viewing as which took the pressure away from us. The process is very stressful to say the least but all employees we dealt with along the way were very understanding and efficient at dealing with any issues that ensued and ensured they were quickly resolved keeping us well informed. We had a quick result and were guided to a satisfactory position of sale. We would thoroughly recommend Honeywells to friends and family.

GoogleWe've used Honeywell's on a few occasions throughout 2020 and find the service we receive from them exemplary! Chris and his team will go above and beyond to ensure that nothing feels like any trouble. As a business we can be quite time taxing, and at no point have we seen a drop in their commitment to our sales because of it, and most importantly we've seen the sales come through on plots where others couldn't! GoogleWe have recently purchased a property through Honeywell Estate Agent and were more than happy with the service we received. They were very accommodating regarding viewings and didn't restrict us on the amount of time in the property which we feel is really important when trying to get a feel for a property. The staff liaised well with our estate agent and solicitor and always tried to keep us informed of any progress we were not aware of. We found the staff to always be professional and approachable. FacebookThey are a group of very efficient dedicated professionals who listen carefully to your needs both selling and buying and the result is a painless and very pleasant experience . They co ordinate all the parties involved , seller, buyer, solicitors etc to make sure everything goes smoothly and are experts at getting any party dragging their feet to make progress. The service they offer goes way over and above what any internet service can offer- and I speak from bitter experience - and I can honestly say they are worth every penny of their (very reasonable) fees. The fact that you can call into the office and swap information, get an update , have your fears put to rest, drop off keys, clarify something in the paperwork etc etc is what will ensure companies who excel at what they do , which is what Honeywell do, will ensure their continued success. I have recommended them to all my friends & family.

GoogleMy partner has recently used this company in relation to the sale of his house which fell through due to the 'chain' breaking at the final moments. I was living at the property with my partner at the time it occurred, having previously sold my house in another area. We were uneasy about several aspects of the sale so started doing our own research on the buyer. We were shocked and horrified to find out that her property was still FOR SALE on the internet with online estate Agents. This was subsequently checked and proved to be the case. How could she be buying my partners house when her own was still for sale? This was at the point where we should have been ready to complete! We have been left battered and bruised by the whole experience, not to mention the financial ramifications. I can't help feeling that the front of house staff at the Clitheroe office weren't asking the right questions of the buyer and, more importantly, not checking the information she provided. I've thought long and hard about posting this review and I try to be a fair person. However, I am having difficulty in coming to terms with what happened and I feel that there are some training issues with regard to some of the staff at Honeywells.
I’m saddened you have decided to post this review without speaking to me first. When the sale was agreed the chain was thoroughly checked with the agent below and we had received proof of mortgage from the buyer so the chain was confirmed as proceedable and complete. Unfortunately, some sales do fall through. This can be for a variety of reasons and we do all we can to keep this to a minimum but inevitably not all proceed to completion. The online agent you refer to in your review didn’t mark the property as sold on Rightmove, but this does not mean a sale was not proceeding. The sale was confirmed by the estate agents themselves and all the solicitors in the chain. Even a few days before the sale fell through the online agent confirmed things were proceeding although for the last week they stopped returning all our calls. If a buyer decides to withdraw from a sale further down the chain with another agent, I agree and understand it is very disappointing but also out of your and my control. I’m not in a position to post full details of the sale in this public response but if you have any further questions please contact me directly and I will happily discuss any concerns with you., Chris Driver, Director.

They always answered the phone (something that is not consistent with other agents) and were polite and helpful without exception. We had regular weekly updates, either a call or an email from them and our sale progressed without a hitch. This is our second time using this agent and we have no hesitation in recommending them.

GoogleI enquired about a house. The house was under offer. A few days later I received a phone call to say the buyer had lost their buyer. I was asked if I wanted to view it. I knew I wanted it and put in an offer there and then. The offer was accepted and property removed from the market. I instructed a solicitor, got a mortgage in principle. Over the weekend, the previous buyer found another buyer. I was informed the vendor was going ahead with the previous buyer again. I received a phone call from Rachel initially who was extremely flippant about the decision with no sympathy. I received another phone call from Chris. I was devastated as have recently encountered major health issues and needed an easier house to manage. Honeywells couldn’t have cared less. Sickened by their attitude and lack of professionalism.
